Does anyone know a good file browser allowing me to select more than 1 file at once and see photo thumbnails at the same time? Like for example when I want to delete 5 specific photos instead of picking them one by one which is annoying as fuck?
And an app allowing me to easily delete a text message? I get around 5 spam text messages + around 2-3 text messages a day from people I don't want to respond so I read first few words and want to delete that message but no, I can't! I have to read the notification, then go to my inbox to read it again and click like 5 times until I can delete it. If I have 10 messages I have to do it to each. Annoying! Any solutions?

i think astro file manager has the ability to view thumbnails and multi-select.

also, im sure if you press and hold on the message without opening it there is an option to delete.

speaking of reducing clicks, anycut or any other shortcut program should allow you to make custom shortcuts on your desktop.

Thanks guys! It really helped, these apps are great.

I'm also looking for the best news reader/rss that comes with various channels where I could be able to pick which ones to read. A nice user interface would also do. I tried a few but can't really find a good successor to the previous one I had on my previous phone.
I'm used to Mobispine but there's no Android version of it yet.

Also, any way to change my phone theme and menu backgrounds from dark to.. anything else?
Without rooting that is.

AT&T picking up HTC Desire, Sprint grabbing HTC Hero2 « Boy Genius Report

Desire on AT&T and HTC Legend, the phone I've been wanting to get for the longest time, will be on Sprint. Also, the rumor is it will be modified. MOTHERFUCK. They'll probably make it ugly somehow. BAD news man.

T-Mobile needs to step its android game up.

I'm not sure about this one because I do all my RSS feeds from Google Reader on my laptop, but I hear NewsRob is good, also FeedR is awesome (but not free).

No theme changing without root I'm afraid. Why haven't you rooted yet?

I heard T-Mob are gonna get some good devices soon. HTC Legend will likely come to multiple carriers....Sprint have the exclusive on the Supersonic and will be pushing that as their main phone.

^Good point. Perhaps I'm overreacting.

Also, add me on google reader. I'm relatively new to it, but I'm trying to build my followers and people I'm following.

since we were talking about marketing before, sandeep have you seen the ads for the LG InTouch all over Birmingham? They are everywhere, theres a massive one above the entrance to the pallasades which a picture of the phone running Twidroid, and some text that says "twidroid, one of the thousands of amazing apps in the android market" or something along those lines.

I just saw an LG advert on E4 also, it was showing off the myspace app on Android.

Haven't been down pallasades or city centre for about a month now. There was one of the LG Eve on a billboard next to the main tram station in wolverhampton; but today I noticed they've taken it down.

I just can't wait until the xperia's hit stores. I really don't know what phone to get when my contract expires. Keeping a close eye on the phones. Of course I don't want contracts where the handset is too pricey or a line rental of £40 or so. So the phone I'll probably get next may just well be one that will be released very soon. I've got until christmas day 2010 until this one expires.

I think all but one handset is free on tmobile, my brother got his LG InTouchMax on a £20 contract for free.

I wouldn't get an XPERIA because of the custom UI. It's nice, but waiting for the hardware manufacturer to update their UI's is just loooooong. My cousins HTC Hero is still stuck on Android 1.5 lol. I believe Cliq/DEXT is on 1.5 still also.

True, Hero and other Sense UI devices are getting a 2.1 update next month, unlike the G1, but I can't imagine still not having awesome 1.6 features like Goggles, the new Market, Google Nav, etc, for such a long time.

Personally I'm waiting for the Motorola Shadow/Nexus Two. And I usually give new phones 3 months after they come out, to get them, because you can usually get a better deal by then. My contract is up in May, so I'm gonna stick with my G1 till about September-ish, and hopefully the Shadow has been out for a few months by that point.

that's the kind of thing i that i do. i would get another basic android os phone like that of the G1. i meant i couldnt wait for the new xperia series to hit the stores so the younger generation can go wild over it. my brother was mad for the satio and i told him the main feature on it is the camera. it defeats the object when he tells me he doesnt care about the camera on a phone.

my cousin was amazed with goggles. i took a pic of the aston villa logo on my top and it did a google search. i wish i could try out shopper, but i cannot download from the market - ive done a wipe and get a force close error.
