I want to buy this "Verizon Droid" and I'd like the droid heads in here, casey...and whoever else to tell me if I should or not.
Pros/Cons..cuz apparently Casey and (insert name here) know everything about it and I trust your opinions.
Seriously, it looks awesome, should I buy it? Or wait for a next generation or something.

I'm not made of money though. If I can find out who's gonna be doing the PR for it in the UK, I might be able to get one from them. But they haven't even announced a UK release yet, so it's a moot point right now.
Yes, you should definately buy it, it's a motherfucking beast of a phone, the best smartphone on the market right now.
Pro's:
Killer spec. Powerful processor and GPU, lots of RAM, comes with 16GB storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, runs Android platform which is the best mobile OS by far, loads of great apps, many of which are free, amazing screen with the best resolution of any phone, native Google apps like Gmail, GTalk, YouTube (with one-click record and upload), full QWERTY keyboard, multitasking, 5MP cam with Xenon Flash, new Android 2.0 Google Maps which includes full Google Navigation GPS, which eliminates the need to have a separate GPS unit (TomTom and Garmin's stocks dropped 20% after this was announced lol)

i dont think iphone users will understand that because they believe their phone can do anything.
there's this is i dislike at work. all i could hear him say was iphone iphone iphone in the back. its annoying, i really really wanted to join in the conversation but our manager has split the team into smaller groups and we're not allowed to move from our section.
if people are thinking the iphone is still the best phone on the market, they have seriously fallen behind on technology.
the palm pre has just launched on o2. and orange are selling the iphone. watch everyone go iphone crazy this christmas, because they are nonthewiser.
i wish i could write one of my psychology tasks on irrational thought about people being brainwashed by technology such as the iphone or the ipod by brand names etc... but i think it would be too biased.

dont know if i've mentioned before, but those of you who want to download or stream free music from android devices. download the "i music" app.
also, i love the john witherspoon, chris tucker, friday soundboards.

i made sure i went and told everyone about android in my office today. told the manager, and about 2 or 3 other colleagues about the power of google, android and these phones running the OS and trying to glorify the negatives of getting an iphone.
i gave 2 people a whole list of android phones to look up. manager is looking for a phone for himself and his wife. i recommended samsung galaxy (lite), htc tattoo, cliq/dext would be best as girly phone for wife. droid (when it comes out) best for him, or SE xperia x10. maybe even G2.
