I wish the Sony had a keyboard. The first and second one did wtf.

To me there are two types of people in the sick fucking phone world. The real users who see the need for a physical keyboard, and the want to look cool users who just go get an iPhone. Those specs fam, those specs are for us real users, Sony is fucking up

Yeah I heard. Can't be a full outage though because I'm roaming on T-Mobile USA right now (voice, not data) here in PDX.

Android Market to see carrier billing soon

Android Market to see carrier billing soon

T-Mobile, which exclusively has the G1 Android phone as well as the MyTouch3G and Cliq, has released some Android stats this week, including its forward plans for the Android Market.

According to MobileCrunch here are the stats from T-Mobile:

* Around 50% of myTouch users launch the Market app each day
* 80% of myTouch users launch the browser once a day, and roughly 66% launch it more than once a day
* More than 40% of myTouch users access social sites multiple times each day
* Roughly half of myTouch owners say they have “completely customized” their handsets, though that term seems a bit ambiguous

Perhaps the biggest note from the report is the upcoming addition of "Carrier Billing" to the Android Market. Until now, users needed a Google Checkout account to purchase any games or applications but with carrier billing you can download anything you want and it will be charged to your wireless bill at the end of the month.

The news should help developers sell more applications, and will also make the entire process as easy as click and purchase.

Additionally, T-Mobile will soon have its own Android Market channel and a T-Mobile Pack of 34 "recommended" apps.

I figured i don't want the Droid anymore. I'm going with the iPhone. I got a deal on an brand new iPhone 3GS for 350$ from my homie. Plus, he's adding me to his contract and all i have to pay is 45$ a month. Tell me that's not a deal of a life time!

^It retails for what? 500? 600? I'm getting it for half off.

The day before he decided to sell it to me he met up with some guy who was about to buy it off him for 650, but ended up bitching out of the deal.

EDIT: $599(8GB), $699(16GB), or $799(32GB). I'll be getting the 16gb.

oh and did i say? one of my relatives bought one? yes i did. haha.

there was an article mentioning that some phones dont have the ability to upgrade to eclair 2.0. something to do with the hardware i think it was. also, eclair consumes about 100MB which is why its highly unlikely the G1 will get the update.

still need to do the CM update, waiting until i get some free time and no essays to write.

The Droid has been getting amazing reviews at most respectable tech sites and mags.

As that awkward sports caster would say: "Boom goes the dynamite"
