Real Madrid is a cauldron of conflicting interests right now. Pellegrini wanted to keep a lot of the players, the board wanted them gone to relieve salary pressure and some extra cash in the kitty after their ridiculous shopping spree.

Pellegrini is the one coach you do NOT want to be right now. He's just handed a bag of players and is told "go win stuff". Immense pressure, especially considering the lopsided transfer policy.

Pellgrini should just play a 2-5-3 formation or something.

not too sure about him. He is nowhere near the player he was at Monaco back when they reached the Champions League final. saw him a few times for PSG and was poor enough. His attitude isnt great either from what ive read.

im so glad shorey's loan deal fell through. he's been one of our best players so far this season. keep him.

we will find out today if we've completed the signing david dunne or not, officially through the premier league. villa, dunne and the fa have done their bit. we're waiting on confirmation from the PL now.
