I AM ABSOLUELY GUTTED WITH THIS SIGNING!
he doesnt bring anything new to the squad that we dont have already. we already have strength upfront in carew and harewood who both have pace on them too.
only positive things i can really think of are, he is british (british mentality of football is what MON is trying to maintain in the squad), he's worked with MON at Leicester before.

they are the reasons he signed him. to replace Carew and the fact that he managed Heskey at Leicester was a factor as well. I think Carew could be sold in the summer. I think he out injured for another 2 months and it seems to me that he has fallen out with MON.
Heskey isnt bad. im not saying he is. Im just glad we didnt sign him because i dont think he will improve Liverpool.

harewood cracks me up!!
i dont want carew to go, he was one of our best performers last season. hes good with the squad and was a fan's favourite. id hate to see him leave. hopefully he comes back from his injury sooner rather than later and makes a good impression with MON. and they can sort their differences out if there still are any.
all it was was that he croke his curfew and went out clubbing the night before a game. disciplinary action, accept it and move on, learn from the mistake and not do it again.

charles n'zogbia has stated his preference of villa over arsenal.
zenit are considering whether to accept arsenal's £12m offer for arshavin. (his contract expires end of the year - therefore he can buy his contract out and they'll receive less money).
