Maybe the last straw was when he found out his Brazlian compatriot, wasn't going to be joining him after all. What does this do for his future at City?

I don't expect Robinho to stick around. He won't content with finishing 5th or 6th place on the league table.

That fucking towel head has to understand this is football, not fucking baseball or hockey. Money is for the most part the last thing on players minds; fame and reputation for their legendary clubs (Kaka for AC Milan as an example) is 100 times more important. Why hasn't Lavezzi left Napoli? He's been linked with some of the biggest clubs, but he refuses to leave. Why? Cause people at Napoli make him feel like a God, and wants to make an impact there.
I think players leave clubs for a new challenge only once they feel they've done all they could for the team they're currently playing with... obviously, you get the exceptions though.

He rejected it last week... it's just that Milan and his dad refused his answer for now.
difference is it's actually official now!! :)

funny how city act like they are the ones who pulled out of the deal. not too long ago hughes was saying that this chance may never come in the next window or ever again for that matter - so he would be trying to do everything in his power to sign kaka. but they pulled out? that easily?

doesnt sound right. pretty obvious they were clearly rejected.

robinho got his hopes up too high. - hes been talking to kaka over the phone in recent weeks and now he stormed out from the training camp. this i one thing i dont like about robinho - it's all about him and when he doesnt get his way he sulks and goes all stroppy.

It just show the way the game has gone when Wilson Palacios leaves Wigan (8th) to join Spurs (19th) halfway through the season. He is an outstanding player but the fucker could have got a move to Man Utd in the summer if he waited.

to be fair I dont think Palacios asked for a move, he even played for Wigan (and well) couple of days before he went. I would've liked him at Man Utd but we have so many players in the middle.

I would like Valencia though :)

and yeah bullard is official Flip

Finally Man City understood that they can't buy the greatest players... They have to buy good-great players like Bellamy, Keane, De Jong, Bridge and get some good results before buying Kakas, Buffons and such.
