Sky Sports are idiots. Gillete Soccer Saturday is good but recently comments like

"Theres no good strikers in La Liga" By Paul Merson

Or

"Spain haven't got better keepers than us" by Phil Thompson

are bordering on insanity.

So, I'm thinking about Arsenal and their lack of recent success.

How many of those young players have developed enough?

Lets look at Walcott, has his game improved enough since Southampton? I don't rate him highly anyway.

A.Song, Bendtner, Denilson are these players good enough and will they ever be.

Cesc had a poor game today, he is NOT captain material, shocking decision him being captain.

Adebayor I always felt wasn't that good of a striker despite his good season last season, Van Persie is injury prone, Eduardo is good enough but he needs to regain full fitness.

Nasri who has been Arsenals best player (bar Arshavin recently) sometimes looks lost as he has little ahead of him.

They need some experience, why didn't they try to get someone like Appiah or someshit..

Yea I think Arsenal have a captaincy problem, they have no leadership at all. They need someone to drive them on when things aren't going their way.

If they don't buck it up sharpish the "big four" could become the big three.

i thought when gilberto was captain he was doing a decent job. i saw some good leadership skills and he told players and gave them feedback. doesnt shy away from telling players where they're going wrong.

I don't think the captaincy has affected Cesc that much, the problem is that he is being asked to play much further forward that he used to (sometimes as a '2nd' striker) and it means he's not affecting the game like he should.

Agree with Song, Bendtner etc. They're squad players at best. Walcott aswell.

What they need is 2 strong centre halves (i heard they were looking at Haangaland from Fulham) as teams tend to bully them out of games. If they get 2 new centre backs and a defensive midfielder then they would be much better. An ideal team would be.

yea good win for Newcastle. I hope they stay up and Hull go down. I have nothing against Hull but i dont like their poser of a manager. Middlesbrough look fucked.

Owen is not the same player anymore but i reckon he will come good again.

^^yes

My brother is a big Newcastle fan. He is worried that should Man Utd have the league sown up by the time they play Hull on the last game of the season, Sir Alex the horrible alcoholic pig may get his revenge on Alan Shearer (for opting to join Newcastle over Man Utd) by fielding a very weakened team against Hull.
