it was too soon for him to be Ireland manager but the criticism he was getting from the media was disgraceful and some retarded supporters that probably never saw him play. The media ridiculed him alot which wasn't nice. This guy was a great player for Ireland. He always gave his all and i remember how he suffered in the heat in one of the games at the 94 WC. i think he collapsed of exhaustion after it.
