Yeshua, if you can find a single person on this board that agrees with you, I might be more inclined to give some credence to your interpretations.

Or perhaps you are sane, and everybody else on the planet is mad, right?

I didn't give any evidence to back up my opinions, I gave you the blueprint. You have the same thing that I have, it is not different. I just look at it from a bigger perspective and get a bigger picture of what I see.

It sounds to me like people are too caught up in this thug image persona that is a concept Pac created himself. He introduced thug life, and even said 'it is deep'. I am talking about a poet talking about a pen. It is just a coincidence that a 'pen' is also an abbreviation for penitentiary, and people associate this word with his thug image. Heed the reason why I have been talking about the ambiguity in his lyrics.

"cost me more to be free, than a life in the pen
Making money off of cuss words, writing again"

Casey, do you really think that Tupac is talking about a penitentiary above, when Pac makes a direct reference to the pen and writing in the same sentence?

Tupac was a poet before he became a thug. That is a fact. He wrote poetry when he was twelve, was he a thug then?

Nope your just fucking stupid.
Can you report me again?

Yes I can. Check a thread named Vicious Telekinesis. If it wasn't for my correct interpretation, a lot of people here (including Rahim) would still be thinking Tupac says "this is telekinesis" in the track No More Pain.

Also, LastOnesLeft. I, with the help of others managed to figure out the correct lyrics/interpretation to the end of verse one:

"So I gotta keep my eyes open
Gettin high, wonder why we gotta die smokin My alibi
I'm just a weak victim of my environment
and I'm marked for death
Spendin my nights like its the last one left
I'm an outlaw!"

I can provide links if you still doubt me :p

the lyrics are one thing. your interpretations aren't correct or incorrect, they are just your interpretations. you seem to focus on being right in all of these threads, like it proves you know more about Pac than anyone else. you forget that lyrics, just like any other written works, are open to endless interpretations, none of which can be proven right or wrong unless the author of those works can confirm what the meanings of the lyrics are. and Pac ain't telling us anything, so you don't know any more than anyone else.

but i guess it makes you feel better about yourself to think you are more intelligent than others and look down on them cuz they don't see things on "your level". so go ahead and think you're right if it makes you feel good, but don't expect everyone to believe your theories, or tell them that their own interpretations of the lyrics are wrong.

and one more thing: those who go out of their way to try to prove their intelligence usually end up either proving that they aren't as intelligent as they like to think, or come off as a smug arrogant asshole. so next time you're wondering why people are flaming you you should think about the way you act here first.

I was more referring to this instance. I've always known the lyrics were "vicious" and not "this is" on No More Pain.

Besides, that's not the same thing. That's just people mishearing a lyric. This one is an interpretation, when 'Pac was using a word with one meaning, and you are trying to claim he meant the other meaning.

So I'll say it again, I challenge you to find a single person on here that agrees with you. Since you're "so convinced" (ha, see what I did there) that you are right, then you shouldn't have any difficulty finding another person that agrees.
