So was Luca Toni good tonight? Was he good for Italy at the last World Cup.Does he look a technically good player?. His miss after Cassano's brilliant pass was like something a striker on my local team would do. no composure whatsoever and the runs he makes were never the right one. I have never thought Toni was much good at the highest level.
See the problem with some of you guys is that you believe the hype too much. Toni is a decent striker who has had a good season in average league and in the sub-standard UEFA Cup.But wait Bobby, he was good for Fiorentina? he is certainly not a great striker and seems to struggle at the highest level when he is up against good defenders.ok he is not useless, i tend to go over the top but he is not a top level striker. and yea Crouch is better:hungry:
Believe the hype? No I do not, infact I hardly believe the hype of many players..so dont assume shit about 'some of the guys'.
Who was outstanding in the last world cup? No-one was. All the strikers were starved of any decent quality.
Bundesliga is not an average league, UEFA cup is not sub standard either. And hey he out performed Klose in the Bundesliga, the same Klose who was the top scorer at the last World Cup and lets not mention how Santa Cruz took to going to a 'harder league' than the so called average Bundesliga.
Toni > Crouch. Quite easily
Luca Toni held the ball up quite well at times but that was it, but hey I dont judge a player after one game.
and again the overreaction wow he had little composure for that one chance, which striker hasn't had moments like that?
