Pranjic is from the Balkans too :p

Now... Adebayor apparently is going to Milan, Ronaldinho is already there, Arsavin wants to go to Arsenal but Wegner says that he's not fit enough, Chelsea says no to Inter for Lampard...

can he not get fit enough lol. And i think that might be tactics by Wenger to turn other clubs off him.

I was reading that Jorge Andrade may have to retire from football after he suffered a relapse of the knee injury that has kept him sidelined for the past while. He needs another operation, which will be his fourth operation on the knee. I had totally forgot about him. He was a very good defender. It would be a shame if he had to retire.

Yes sir. Dinho to Milan. :)

This would probably mean benching Seedorf. But Milans attack is questionable. Inzaghi is getting old and Pato is still young and unexperienced and yet to show what he can do. Plus Dinho's weight might be a concern.

Nah Ronnie will get back to shape at AC Milan. Ronaldo did, so can he.

I hope he refinds his form at AC Milan, true that Milan need a striker they have Pato, hes too young to carry AC Milan in the goals department, Inzaghi will still score goals when hes 50 lol but he cant play every game, they have Borriello who had a good season at Genoa, but could be a more of a one season wonder. They also have Paloshi (sp) who is also a bit too young.

I read on skysports today that Arsenal have a bid in for Xabi Alonso. If Benitez accepts this in order to fund a deal for the way over-priced Gareth Barry then he needs his head check. It would be weakening Liverpool and strengthening a rival.

Barry returned to training today only to pick up a foot injury.

He needs to train to pogress his fitness so at least other clubs wont have any second thoughts on his fitness.

This could be a chance for him to leave on a positive note. It would be good to see him train hard and play the second leg of the intertoto cup clash back at villa park. He SHOULD get a good send off, but im not sure what kind of reception he'll get.

I still dont want him to leave tbh. Id rather him mend his relationship with MON. But his agent has a bigger influence on his decision than RL and MON together.

It was all Barry's agent's doing in Barry making such a statement in the newspaper. He wouldnt just come out with something like that.

Am I the only one that thinks that Barry is not that awesome???
most likely, yes. because he is! he's just been overlooked just because villa arent part of the "top four". But we will be soon. Only a matter of time.

And we will beat liverpool this year, with or without Barry

I hope too. But ever since he was given that player of the year award in 04 and then again in 05, he kind of got lazy.

Barry is good but not proven at champions league level therefore he is not worth more than 12 million. Liverpool need to hang on to Alonso and sign a good winger and another striker.
