Y'ALL ARE FUCKING DELIRIOUS.
Having his Son at the plate to hug was real cool, I'm glad for Barry, all the shit he has been through, he deserves this.
All the shit that HE has been through? Have you ever even seen a documentary about Hank Aaron? That was an extremely talented black man playing baseball, America's pastime, in the Deep South during the civil rights era. He and his family were scared for their lives over him hitting balls over a fence. What about all the shit that Hank went through? And then to have his record disgraced by a cheater. Imagine what he must be feeling right now.
Good 4 Bonds. Like he is the only man in the world 2 "cheat" at something. And the fact is there hasn't been anything made official about his use of 'roids, let alone it was a frequent drug used during the time he is being accused of using it. And even if he did who the fuck cares? Its a game and dude dont need to be ran over because of it. The justice is in the fact he hasnt won it all, imagine the teams who have won the title with players on the juice. Bonds has the vision that the juice cant produce.756
That is the biggest load of bullshit I've heard in this debate next to anything concerning race. "Innocent until proven guilty," my ass. This isn't a court of law. The mass of circumstantial evidence is overwhelming. Criminals have been convicted on evidence less than this.
If Bonds* didn't take steroids, why hasn't he sued a single person for libel? If I were him and didn't take 'roids, I'd have my lawyers working on it hardcore. The reason he isn't is because he doesn't want it proved that he did.
Bonds* is the one getting all of the shit because Bonds* is the one disgracing the game at the highest level. If it was anybody else of any other race or of any other character, they'd be getting shit too.
If "juice can't produce" this stuff, then why are all the players who were taking them putting up monster numbers? Bonds*, McGwire*, Sosa*, Palmeiro*, Canseco*, Caminiti*. All of them. I mean shit, Canseco* was damn near crippled as a youngster and went on to put up monster years, and it was steroids that did it for him.
You know what Bonds* had a vision of? He had the vision of being the most talked about player in baseball. He was sick of seeing McGwire* and Sosa* get all the attention, so he injected some attention right into his ass.
Hank Aaron will still be the all-time home run king in my eyes, and Roger Maris will still be the single-season home run king in my eyes.
Serious, who in their right mind would threathen to kill a man over something so petty? He doesnt deserve that, if he was on the juice he was just one of many...its just his natural talents took the shit to the next level. There were people saying the record was hollow when Hank broke it too, diffrent time period, yes, but today is diffrent too.
No one said it was hollow. Some people were pissed because he was black, but no one questioned its validity.
You know what Bonds* natural talent got him before 2001?
.289 career BA
33 HR/Season
15.1 AB/HR (As opposed to 6.5 in 2001)
94 RBI/Season
Does that sound like one of the greatest players ever to you? To put that in perspective for you, Albert Belle had a higher career BA (.295), a similar HR/Season (32), similar HR/AB (15.4), and more RBI/Season (103). Albert Belle was an offensive power, but is anyone even
talking about him being in the Hall of Fame? Psh, no.
Granted, that's a small range of stats, and I'm not suggesting Albert Bell was as good as a player as Bonds* is, but think about it a little bit. And to be honest, Bonds* was a better
player before he started taking steroids. He didn't need them to be a Hall of Famer, but he did them to "break" these records. Always a great hitter too, but never a
scary hitter until 2001. I mean shit, some years in the mid-90's you'd rather to pitch to Bonds* than pitch around him and have to face Matt Williams.
And before this gets into a debate and MVP awards are brought up to show how great of a player he is, 4 of those 7 came during the years he was juicing, and the last legitimate one was in 1993.
