Wow after listening to the whole album so much new 2pac material on this. It rates so highly and is most likely the best 2pac leak since those unheards where leaked years ago. All tracks are unbelievable quality although some labled with 2pacshakur.** still very bearable though.

The original versions give a lil extra to the beat and it sounds fresh. For instance i'm getting money, new beat and its sickkkkk

Thug life is brand new 2pac lyrics i've never heard and so is niggaz in the pen! same with time to get my drank on. No lyrics in the song just pac talking in the back ground. That the same with faced shootouts... crazy shit. I'll be burning this and listening it for a long time... *cradle's burnt disc like a newborn* its like a new release!

this is a release that was sold to the public. i don't feel it's right to post a link, and i personally will probably try and prohibit spreading out of respect for the people who put this out and what this release represents for the scene. someone who exceeds my authority will have to tell me otherwise. i am familiar with the fact that rukas does not want to be biased and a hypocrite and not allow certain bootlegs, so i am taking this on me for now.

as far as history goes, the one with runnin on it is a different tape. this is the demo tape, the tape that had "demo" written on it that was submitted to interscope records. they then had tupac re-record the album, and after doing so, they went and changed even more things anyway, but this is the first recorded thug life. the one with runnin was an in-studio promo of the second recorded album which was later changed. it reflects the retail release before interscope changed it prior to release. this is something completely different, this is the original demo tape.

enjoy it. thanks to leechers this is the last project i will ever be a part of. enjoy listening to shitty remixes from now on and maybe some day you'll recognize that an ounce of support would have given you tons of new material.

Thanks preach. i didn't realize this was actually sold to the public... funny how today this album would be considered by interscope as perfectly fine to be released. Shows how much things have changed

Perhaps you should have marketed this a lil bit better considering that i've been a real "hardcore" pac fan for years and did not even hear of this up until i saw it for download...

had you supported any previous projects you'd have already known. being that this site is hardly 2pac focused anymore, perhaps it's your bad for attending to the wrong channels for your news.

well it should be your goal to reach as many 2pac fans through various forms of communication regardless if they attend the most popular 2pac forums. Its not my fault i never heard of the project, its upto you to make sure i do.

If you were responsible for this release then give me your account details and i'll deposit an amount to say thanks. It shouldn't be about the money but if it makes the legacy continue i'm for it

Mine and Dante's issues towards each other are well documented.

However, I never like to see things like this happen when people have worked hard to offer a project such as this. My condolences.

Is it known who leaked it?

i'm actually not quite sure. my life's been different the past few months. i think i'm actually starting to grow up because for once in my life i can actually say i've been too busy to follow the pac scene, and get away with it lol. i've been buying shit off ebay though, i just haven't stayed on top of things. so i don't really know.

and yeah this is about something else than your and dantes problems so it's good that you are aware of that :thumb:

well this has to be expected. when you put out releases for $130 or more, a lot of people won't be interested in buying it, and will wait for it to leak so they can get it for free. a lot more people would support your releases if you didn't charge so much for them. can you honestly expect to sell a ton of copies at that price? for just 11 songs? lower your prices and more people would buy.

here is the problem.

if the album gets sold at a low price, it's gonna leak, no doubt. doesn't feel as bad leaking a $30-40 album as leaking something i spent fucking 150, 200 dollars for. the high price ensures that only the most devoted, adult, financially responsible people will purchase. this ensures that only trustworthy people possess it. see, a little 17 year old kid who started listening to pac two years ago really doesn't deserve to get all the shit i've been waiting eight-nine years for now. and there are people who have waited even longer. you sit, then you crawl, then you walk. regardless of that whole analogy, i see why some people feel unrightfully treated, but come on. the alternative is that we don't get shit at all.

another factor in this equation is the amount of buyers. most people on the net have a distorted view of how supported these projects are. they are recouping costs. like dante has said, if he, or someone else pays $5000 for ONE dat song, he/they do not feel inclined to hand it out for free. most of the profit from these projects have gone to recoup costs and to donate to tasf, although they had some bad experiences with tasf actually. they still haven't gotten their named bricks.

i have no problems with the way the sessions and the thug life tape have been marketed, and it's too bad thug life was the last project. it was supposed to stop after sessions, and even when dante and them gave the scene yet another chance, it went the way it always does. i feel his frustration and most other people should too.

like i said, most people have this illusion that they could somehow have obtained the tracks for free so this isn't fair. this is a completely distorted impression of how things work. we as tupac fans had two options. a) purchase these projects at a high price, or b) get nothing new at all except remixes. this is definite, like gravity. if you think i am wrong, you are wrong.

btw im not responding to you devious, just saying in general.

see though, that's the problem. shit like this leaks because of the ridiculous price. you say it might be easier for some people to leak a cheaper CD, but there would be far less people to leak it to if the price were lower, because more people would have bought it in the first place. a lot of people (myself included) can not afford to spend $150 on a cd with 11 songs on it. if he were selling it for say $50, i would have gladly bought it, and so would many others.

it is an inevitability that these projects will leak, because there's always someone out there willing to pay the price just to leak it. it happened with almost every major project that's been released over the years. but if it was more affordable more people would be willing to purchase it rather than wait for it to be leaked. dante can get on his high horse all he wants and talk about how the leechers ruined it for everyone, but he knew as well as anyone else that this was inevitable. he also knows that if he charged less he'd make more in the long run, but he chooses to sell his projects for limited time and therefore wants to try to make as much money as possible by gouging people. i remember when this practice used to be frowned upon in this community, but i guess it's acceptable now.
