What’s everyone think?

Internet going crazy over LA sightings but he does spend time there in the off-season and does own houses there. I just don’t see him becoming a Laker but who knows...

Yeah, who knows. Depends on what teams promise. An opportunity to play with Paul George or Kawhi somewhere would be attractive to him. I wouldn't be too surprised if he stays, but there would have to be big changes. Otherwise, Lakers, Sixers. Rockets? He should go back to Miami so I can wear my Heat stuff again, no other reason.

I think the more attention fans and the media give to his decision, the bigger the reaction will be. Sounds like common sense but if people just stopped giving a fuck, ESPN will be the only one screaming their heads off about LBJ's fart-particles being found in trace amounts in Miami or SA or LA or something.

Want a reason not to care and why it won't matter? If LBJ goes West, he'll face GS during the regular season and then they'll be gatekeeping the path to the Finals again. This time within the conference. If LBJ couldn't beat GS with Love and Kyrie in years past, what's going to change now?

If he stays in the East, unless he plans on joining Toronto, Boston is probably going to be his biggest hurdle. Assuming BOS stays healthy with Kyrie and Hayward and others, what are his chances?

He's going to have to join/form a superteam to counter GS. And he forms his second superteam within a decade, he's going to get hated on again just like he did in Miami.

If he goes to LA, I give it 10 games before he slaps Lavar Ball on the court side for saying something dumb. I guess that's worth watching a few times.

I've been hearing some weak ass rumors about him coming to the Bulls somehow. Doubt it. I'd be glad to have him; I love LBJ. But the Bulls aren't a team that's ready to go from 0-100 in one season. I don't think any other team out there can win with LBJ next season, except GS. Maybe Houston and Boston, but you think LBJ is ready to see Kyrie again in the same locker room?

It's lose-lose except for the team that signs him and increases attendance and LBJ himself who is going to get paid. Players, fans, and the other 29 teams are just going to take Ls for what ever his decision is.

I don't know if OKC can swing it but imagine if he signed there? That's a squad. Such revenge on KD.
That would be interesting and I think would make the NBA more exciting than it is now.

LBJ teaming with Russ to take down KD and GS. I didn't think of it until you just mentioned it but that would be something I'd lose my shit over, in a good way.

It would raise the stakes for both LBJ and GS in getting out of the West and in to the Finals, since only one could eventually make it out of the West.

He’s meeting with Philly today.

OKC would be nuts too. Either of those would be amazing.

Just not Lakers.

lol GS gonna keep Lebron out the Finals instead of just from getting a ring.

Now I really want to see what Lavar does about Lebron and promoting BBB. Obviously his kid is no longer the star of LA and now he's playing with the biggest player of the current generation.

I don't think I know of any Lakers fans IRL. Maybe the son of a family friend that is much older than me and I don't talk to him. Can't get a gauge for what they're thinking.

Simple question, I think Lebron has about 5ish years left in this league. Does he end his career with the Lakers? Does he retire as a Laker (meaning his success in LA outshines his Miami and Cavs days)?

The yellow on him just don't seem right. But we'll all adjust to him being there like every change. Then I'll be moving to LA. Just don't let him bring Kevin Love or JR with him. Let them get Demarcus. Anything will be better than what he's leaving. Now he won't have to play GS in the Finals. Lakers vs Celtics 2018.

Not gonna lie, this is pretty lame. I mean more power to the guy, this is what he wanted to do and he gets to go be happy. But the Lakers roster as currently constituted is kind of trash. I know they might get Kawhi but still. They're like the third best team in the conference? Idgi

They’re not getting out of the West.

They need to retool the team. Too many egos to make it a smooth process.

Sad because realistically these will be the last 4 years Lebron will be at his peak.

Seems like an odd decision even now. I think it’s a set up for a career Post-Basketball.

That's just it. I knew the Lakers sucked but I was enjoying this rebuild, I like most of the young players but now wtf. Getting LeBron doesn't make us a contender. Still not better than the Warriors and maybe not even Houston. Now if we get Kawhi and some good role players who knows, but right now I'm pretty meh about it all. For the record I think Lance off the bench can work well. And JaVale has come a very long way since playing in Denver and he is pretty damn solid, I like those pickups
