October 20th, there is this thing going around twitter and facebook about wearing the color "purple" to honor the gays that committed suicide.
I saw the group and many people were complaining.
Some said, "yah, let's honor gays that killed themselves. lets honor suicide" (Sarcasm, obviously).
Some said, "that's not the point, the community or specific people pushed them over the edge, so we are doing this to fight against people who make gays feel bad."
To give an example of the last story I heard,
A gay guy was recorded having sex with his parter by his roommate. I don't know if he was a closet homo, or public, but the roommate put it on youtube and youporn and stuff like that.
The gay guy saw it, and suicided himself.
We know that Pink is October Breast Cancer Month and I think there are a few more, but not as very well advertised.
Do you believe that it's wrong or right to wear Purple on October, 20th?
