Another year, another dolla

Honestly - since like 3 or 4 "editions" of Fifa games I can't tell the difference. I'm not a huge fan though anymore. Since like 2 years I only play demos because that's all that I need anyway - I couldn't care less about teams or game modes :p

there is no competition. remember back in the days of the megadrive/SNES or when the playstation was out there were way more football games.

Konami know that they can churn out the same shite every year and people will buy.

at least FIFA is a good football game now. i couldnt really get into it but its better that PES these days.

When I get my X-box soon (or until Bobby stops harassing me lol), prob gonna pick up FIFA 2011.

Why? Because Pro Evo has been failing as of late.

Fifa. I have fifa 10 for the ps3(get at me @ IAIRonI, suckas) so I'm not sure if it'll be worth buying 11 since there really isn't anything new that I can tell. Imma have to go to the site and check first.

One thing I can't decide is basketball games. NBA Elite 11 or 2k11. Everyone likes 2k editions but Elite 11 looks fucking nice. From what I've read 2k11 has better graphics and MJ. Then Elite has amazing gameplay and a download of NBA Jam, BOOM SHAKALAKA

Personality+ -- Personality + sees a footballer's performance on the pitch mirrored authentically in game, creating clearly differentiated players with individual personalities. Personality+ at every position and for every player on the pitch reinvents how players perform – on and off the ball.

Personality+ Goalkeepers -- The real-life personality of the Keeper, whether acrobatic or traditional, will dictate his style in the game. Dive attributes will determine the keepers with the ability to reach for further shots while Reflex attribute determine reaction times.

Personality+ CPU AI -- CPU controlled football stars have a suite of skill moves to exploit, with star player attributes and specific behaviors attributed to particular players.

Personality+ Celebrations -- User Controlled Celebrations 2.0 enhances the emotion of scoring by allowing you to perform your players trademark celebration and interact with your teammates in real-time.

Personality+ Player Models -- Greater variety of bodies and models further distinguishes each player on the pitch. Plus, new dribble run styles perfectly match players' real-world abilities and style.

Personality+ Animations -- More varied and realistic animations will bring an added level of authenticity. New heading animations differentiate downward strikes from deflections. Featuring dozens of new tackling, slide tackle and jostling animations with a multitude of new responses.

Pro Passing System -- A new passing system where pass accuracy is determined by a gamer's ability on the control pad, and player skill, situation and urgency on the pitch. Poor decisions or over/under striking the ball will mean error-prone outcomes. New types of passes such as swerve passes will enable players to make a safer and more effective play.

Customized Crowd Chants -- Assign customized chants for every team and league. Set your home club’s anthems and chants to play during player introductions, halftime, and after goals. Even hear your name echo in the stands of Old Trafford or San Siro with customized chants for your Virtual Pro. Plus, play music from your hard drive in game.

Advanced Goalkeeper Awareness -- Goalkeepers are now more aware of their surroundings and react more intelligently to each threat. Improvements include sprinting to cut off a loose ball, demonstrating urgency when scrambling back to the net, and the aptitude to skillfully identify and react to lob shots.

FIFA Theatre -- Save highlights from any match (including online) right to your hard drive to view, replay or upload to Footballworld.com at any time.

Complete Authenticity -- 28 officially licensed leagues, over 500 licensed teams and more than 15,000 players.

Virtual Pro -- Live out the fantasy of being a real life footballer by creating yourself in game with a 3D head using Photo Game Face. Play as yourself across any mode. Grow your player attributes through 200 accomplishments and take your Virtual Pro online to become a global superstar.

360° Dribbling -- The market-leading 360° dribbling system that provides finer dribbling control, enabling players to find spaces between defenders that previously were not possible.
These alone might be worth it. One thing I didn't really like about 10 is the ping pong passing and the goalies sort of sucked, especially with the lob.

i havent seen much of FIFA 11 but i dont think there are any drastic changes in gameplay so unless you care about updated transfers and a couple of new modes i wouldnt bother with it.

I'll get Pro Evo. Even though its not as good as it used to be I just can't get into Fifa, I have tried I just hate the little things in the game which Pro used to do perfectly.

Both games are no where as good as they used to be. Sigh..I remember the days of the Master League when it seemed every game was a challange and scoring a goal was a major accomplishment. :(

I played the demo of PES..its a better demo than last year, but PES demos seem to be nothing like the finished game so I have no idea what to expect. The stadium editor seems interesting though.

Man, what's the last good NBA Elite (Live) game?

"I'LL WAIT". katt

NBA 2K >>
Man shut up lol. Everyone knows Live fell off for a couple years, half a decade pretty much but with Elite it looks nice. Have you played the demo yet? Easily better gameplay than 2k. How you can control the players is crazy. 2k looks better but I bet if people actually played elite they'd like it more. I bet next years elite shits on 2k unless something drastic happens to their gameplay.

I only ever play Football Manager. I know people who played the previous Champ games don't necessariy like FM..but i never played CM..so to me FM is a good game. I throughly enjoy the series and it stops me playing and buying garbage games that now come out on the console.
