quote from wikipedia:

FIFA 11 has so far received praise, with IGN UK rating it 9.5 out of 10. [16] and Official PlayStation Magazine (UK) rating it a 10/10.[17] Eurogamer rated it 8/10 summing up, "At its best FIFA 11 is enormous fun and brilliantly engineered, but in its battle to be more varied and realistic it has lost some of its momentum, and off the pitch returns are starting to diminish too."[18]

I'm not into sports games, but if I had to pick one it'd be FIFA.

Yes, I'm biased and you all know why. lol

Also, i'll be forced to buy an official PS3 controller because i dont think my Official PS2 with 3rd Party Playstation to USB converter will work after the 3.50 firmware update.

I don't really care much for reviews they said PES2008 was one of the best PES's ever when it was the worst. They quickly changed their minds though and acted like it was a disaster a year later

I thought 2003 was the worst Fifa game I played; It just boggled the mind, the AI would sub a defender bring on a striker...but play him in defence. It sucked balls. The only good thing about it was visually at the time it looked awesome.

i recall it being easier to score from just inside their half than from close range lol. and the score would always be high even on the higher difficulty.

^^really? i thought, gameplay wise, that it was very good at the time. did you play World Cup 2002? FIFA 2000 was pretty shite as well.
Yeah World cup 2002 was shit. I liked road to world cup 98. i was addicted to it. But one thing i've always hated about Fifa is the lack of fouls. I can easily go through a game without committing a foul, I just press the circle button for that stupid tackle that ive rarely seen in a real game. I remember in 2003 it would work 95% of the time. The last Fifa game I played it worked a lot also, it makes the slide tackle obsolete. The last PES annoyed me because of the lack of fouls by the AI also, i won one penalty in 50 games. (which i missed due to the new penalty bullshit thing) :wondering:

I really think both games are flawed gameplay wise, visually both games are awesome to look at, i know it takes them 6 months longer to complete a game on the next gen and they have to cram a 18 month schedule into 12 months but its still not good enough. The speed just seems completly wrong, Fifa is far too high paced, Pro is high paced also, they need to slow it down a lot more. I heard on the new PES you can change the speed, thats a plus.

In reality, we are being sold the same games, with a changes they have said they have made but won't make a big difference to game.

Though I'm getting PES just to make a huge stadium with big boobs as banners. :D

I don't think I'll get either. I'll rather spend money on an NBA game since I don't have one yet, or hey, maybe get Def Jam Rapstar and karaoke mothafuck!

i watched a video of FIFA 11 on youtube. of the gameplay and i see little difference between that and FIFA 10. i know you can adjust the camera angle but to play it properly you have to use a certain one and the players look really small. i hate that. Its bad enough having to listen to that borefest Martin Tyler and that prick Andy Gray on Sky. i dont want to hear them while im playing a football video game as well. one of the main reasons why i hardly played FIFA 10.,

so i cancelled my order with amazon yesterday, and i go to pre-order with asda and theyre sold out. i might consider going to asda at midnight, otherwise i'll have to go early tomorrow morning... i hope they have it in stock.

asda is the place to get it from as im told by my friends because they do brand new released for like £25 on the first day and then they go back up to £35-£40 thereafter.

So ive been up since 6am, travelling around to different ASDA stores and they didnt have any in stock, went to another one and at 8:30 when the store opened i got my hands on a copy.

i cant even play it yet because the PS3 is in my brothers room and he's sleeping!!

ive just remembered that this year they were going to introduce an online pass so only new games can be played online. so does this mean only 1 of us (out of me and my brother) can play online? or can it be shared for 2 accounts on one console? because buying a new code would cost more and i dont see the point in doing that when ive purchased the game legally, on the first day... not to mention being a loyal FIFA consumer since 95.

that's the only thing i disagree with EA Sports for doing.
