hasnt done anything for Villa? he has been one of their most consistent players over the past couple of seasons. very underrated player and a fine footballer imo.

and Lucas is a Brazilian international. and one of Liverpools better players last season.

Luke Young turned down Liverpool because of Wages..? Hes 31. Liverpool is a huge club. This is your last chance to play for a huge club, why the fuck would you turn it down?

Is this Rafa Benitez?

I disagree on both points. With my satelite system I am able to watch 4 or 5 games every weekend. A lot of which are Villa games, as my dad supports Villa. Or Liverpool games, as they are popular in Europe, which are the channels I pickup.

Also... Does 4 caps in 4 years really make him a Brazilian international?

Oh yeah, the ex-Celtic Midfielder.

Hasn't done anything for Villa. But he is better than Lucas... lol
woahhh are you joking?? he's been solid for us. he didnt start off too well and got booed by the fans.. which MON said was wrong but understood that fans had the right to voice their opinions. stiliyan came back stronger and more consistent than ever, beaming with confidence. he's been fantastic for us for 3-4 years now. very hard working and passionate about playing in the squad. he's one of the fans favourites now and is always in the limelight in the squad whether its online, matchdays, pre-match events, charity events, community or public events.

no, that was speculation. turns out he rejected a move north because he didnt want to move his family. so he's decided to reman with villa and fight for his place. im so glad with his decision.

I still don't agree. He's average. As is Reo Coker and Sidwell. As Cantona would say.... He's a water carrier. :)

Milner is above average. But a long way from world class. Downing is a decent premiership footballer. Young has the most natural talent at Villa. Gab could be world class if he lived up to his potential. Apart from your defence, which is very good. Although Brad will need replacing sooner, rather than later. I see lots of holes. I used to think Carew was a fantastic player, but his heart wasn't in it last season.

You need Central midfielders and a quality striker. Otherwise top 6 is your aim.

Get Barry back for 2.5m. ;)

oh yea definately, i totally agree with you there about getting in replacements for the future such as brad's replacement, that's why we have guzan as his understudy and when he's played for us has been fantastic.

gabby is very inconsistent at times and goes on occasional goal droughts shortly after hitting goalscoring form... it all averages out at the end of the season. he needs to add more to his game than just pace.

carew had a back injury last season and also a calf strain if im correct, he started to play games coming off the bench. i'll be the first to say carew is quite a lazy player a lot of the times, the type that looks as though he's not up for it because its too cold to play... ive watched him train, 20 feet away for an hour... he was taking it far too easy where even heskey put more effort in. but.... carew is great coming off the bench after an injury because he has that desire again.. i hope when he starts games he raring to go, not only after long periods out. the competition will; do him good, and so delfouneso coming in will push gabby and perhaps carew too.

Mourinho will win with Real, the question is whether the Socio's accept his style...although their hunkering for glory might be big enough to ignore that for a year...

Anyway, Twente's Ronnie Stam to Wigan for 4 million.

I'm wondering how Real Madrid will line up next season. 4-3-3?

Di Maria - Higuian - C Ronaldo? With Kaka, Khedira, Diarra in the midfield? :wondering:
