You want a tissue with that? Christ, man, don't be such a baby.

Yes, Man City sucks, yes, they are paying ridiculous wages and transfer fees and yes we all hope they will fail next season.

But don't be such a drama queen. "Football is ruined now", yeah because of one exorbitant salary, ALL OF GLOBAL FOOTBALL IS IN TATTERS!

Pffff

^^lol

look if Man City pay a player like him that much in wages, how can other teams compete? all the players are now massively over priced because teams like City and Chelsea pay way too much for players

its crazy.

^He's a good player and we know he can play well in the premier league, which may not be the case if United sign from abroad.

The figures floating about the net for Toure's transfer fee are ridiculous, Man City are being held to ransom, but meh I'm not complaining, they have more money than sense.

Man United need to sign a creative midfielder. I hope Fergie gets the cheque-book out soon.

It's funny cos now you English are whining about City and Chelsea, but the rest of the world have been whining about the salaries in England full stop.

So yeah, welcome to the club.

City and Chelsea have rogue billionaires with no problem pumping millions into said clubs. You don't see Malcolm Glazer handing Fergie £200 million to buy new players, the difference is how self-sustainable these clubs are.

Man Utd wanted Silva but couldnt meet those wages so now they want to buy Stephen Ireland.

I'd rather have Stephen Ireland. Proven in the Premiership. I think Mancini is taking them backwards, Hughes would have done a better job.

I don't think Man Utd are as in as some of the others. They had 11 defenders injured for a month last year, and still narrowly lost. Chelsea are in bigger trouble. Ageing squad. No new signings. Not bringing any youth through. Arsenal - Still no new defensive or midfield signings. Losing Gallas and Campbell. Liverpool - Where do I start?

^^thats because they have Man Utd loaded with debt. the Glazers are worse than what city have

and the cunts running Liverpool are the worst of all.

The Glazers get a lot of bad press. And to be honest it is stupid that we allow our clubs to be saddled with debt in a takeover. But that is the same in all business. The company I have are the same. Was a PLC. Sold to a Spanish building firm. Who use the equity in the business they were buying to buy it. Crazy. But.... They are commercially excellent. And are bringing in a lot of revenue to United. I think there's money out there for players. But that they are looking to develop young talent, and not buy £30M 27 year olds. The Glazers are so commercially astute that the NBA is looking at what they do and copying them. And the NBA knows it's marketing.

Bobby what you reckon of Tony Evans on Talksport today ? He suggested that Liverpool have already made moves to get rid of both Torres and Gerrard this summer.

I know that he's a bit of a cunt (Evans that is) but he always seems to have the inside scoop on Liverpool.

I reckon they could handle selling Gerrard but Torres would be a massive loss. On his day he's one of the top 5 strikes in the world.

^^wouldnt surprise me one bit tbh. i have a feeling that Hodgson is just gonna be a yes man and Benitez was got rid off because he would resist any attempts to sell Torres and Gerrard.

but if Liverpool end up accepting a bid for Torres from Chelsea we know whats up.

Torres would be in the top 5 strikers. If he actually played. No point having a great striker that is in the treatment room. Gerrard didn't do it last season either.

If you could get 35M for Gerrard, and 70M for Torres.... You'd be fucking laughing. You could rebuild the team with that. Just pop to Real Madrid. They have end of season sales. Last year you could have picked up a lovely Wesley Sneijder for £15M.

lol, definitely. Torres spends too much time sidelined.
