Is there any reason to believe in the character called “God” or “Jesus” or “Allah” found in the Bible or Quran? No. No evidence, no sense, and critical evidence to the contrary.
Yes, Jesus Christ is a historical figure. I don't know about others.
It's just uncertain whether he did everything that was described in the Bible but it's documented better than most other "historical facts" that we do consider as facts and that's it
Looking at it the other way around it's silly how fast people are to ignore things that seem "unreasonable" and how they believe in anything else that was said to happen that seems more probable.
Personally I don't really believe in history in the first place. It's like taking one puzzle, creating a whole image based on it and telling people that this is how it was. I mean - even things that happened 10 years ago are now described way different than they really were. I don't believe that stories about what happened a few thousand years ago are accurate. Definitely some of them are sort of close to reality because there's more evidence than with others but still that's too far for me to believe in the complete picture they're trying to present.
To me the Bible is not more "fake" than a history book about ancient times.
^And about creating religions to control people - make them obey that's a very popular theory.
