Been playing the game... It freaking rocks. lol. The only reason I stopped playing now is because I have school work to do ... It was somewhat hard to get away from it though. lol

did you play the original mass effect first? i think it helps if you do and you can use the character you built up in Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 2 takes into considerations decisions you made in Mass Effect.

i have my copy pre ordered. i think its out Friday. i dont think i should start playing it until summer lol.

I never played the first one to be honest, but I've heard a lot about it and watched an IGN 5 minute recap. lol.

Yes, you can export your M.E character into the M.E2 world. Your main character from the first game is there, but with a small twist. I won't spoil it though.

There are dialogs about what happened in the first game, but it's mostly sum ups and the journal and codex you have gives background info.

^^thats strange. i have a feeling she dies at the start so because she is member of your team at the end of Mass Effect depending on a decision you made during the game. you have a choice at a certain point to go save her or another guy. i chose her because she was hot lol and she is there right to the end of the game.

When i play Mass Effect 2 and i load my profile from Mass Effect, she should be there but maybe she gets killed at the very start or something because i think you can see her get shot in one of the trailers

I too wanna wait till summer to play but after watching all these videos, ads on tv, I have no idea how I'm not gonna play it. Shit is like crack.

So I'll have to manage with playing the 2nd one, and I'll research more of the first to get an idea of what's going on if I get lost lol, but it all seems pretty clear at the moment as to what happened in the first, with the Reapers, the Citadel, etc
