You'll love the 2nd, and it will eat your social life away until you finish it. Me, on the other hand, took away mostly just sleeping time. lol.

I won't say anything about it cause I don't want to spoil it, but lemme know when you finish it, curious to see what ending you'll get.

How many hours was the gameplay? Did you do all the side quests?

There are many more left, but I did all that relate to the main quest, and a few side quests. You can continue after the game to finish off whatever assignments, etc , depending on the ending you got, like the first one.

I'd say that it was about 16 hrs of gameplay prehaps.

It's a real thriller though, the shit should become a movie lol

^^Ahh ok, guess its not much longer than the first one, thats kind've a downer. I'm a real nerd so I'll probably end up doing all the side quests. I think the only I didn't finish in 1 was the gathering the elements side quest.

^^i did everything and im glad all them side missions have been revamped. The ones where you had to land on a planet and collect rocks and all that shit were so boring and tedious.

The Elusive Man seems like a bit of a copy of the Gman to me lol.

I have only played to the part where you find Garrus though.

I didnt expect the game to begin the way it did.

I have my xbox 360 hooked up to a SDTV and the text in ME2 is way too small. i can hardly read it. Its annoying.

Despite that, really enjoying the game so far.

^^but then i wont be able to play ME or ME 2. :(

nah i need to get myself a HDTV. dont see why they had to make the text so small though. and you need to read alot of the stuff that pops up on screen.

so what was your commander Shepard like Flipmo? did you play as mostly a paragon or rengade?

I imported my character from Mass Effect. he is mainly Paragon and i had the paragon bar maxed out because of a glitch. On my first playthrough of Mass Effect 2 im gonna continue that way. I also played through mass effect a second time with the same character just before i got mass effect 2 and i maxed out the renegade bar with another glitch.

I also have another character in mass effect who looks like Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink lol. He is completely renegade. its so much fun playing as a renegade. When i play through a second time i will use him.

i finally finished it last night lol.

I finished with everyone still alive including all the crew because i rock lol. I got to the crew just in time before they were squished up and fed through those tubes. But i never activated Legion before i went to the final mission. I brought him back from that mission where you get the IFF and i chose to hold onto him rather than giving him to Cerburas but i got the impression that the crew were fucked if i waited around to activate him and do his loyalty mission so i just went straight to the final mission. I did activate after i completed the final mission though but i hope he will still be there if i use this save game in ME3. i guess i can always do it again if not.

The first time i played that part where you knocked the human reaper by shooting those tubes, i chose to keep the Collector ship and hand it over to Cerburas but i got the impression afterwards that this was a bad choice so i reloaded it and did it again and this time i chose to blow it up. The ending was great

Overall, an excellent game but i think its much more of a shooter than an RPG. There wasnt as much freedom to move around planets and other areas like you had in ME. There are RPG elements in it but Mass Effect was pretty much half shooter, half RPG. The weapons were much better than in ME but you couldnt customise them as much as you could in ME. I think that part with Legion was a little bit confusing as well. I think that you should have acquired him earlier in the game. but overall, a great game.

And i didnt fuck any of my crew. My good Paragon Sheppard stayed loyal to Ashley lol.

Next playthrough though, Miranda is getting it in the ass.

One of my crew members died. It was the skinhead chick, funny cause I was trying to sex her up, but she never wanted. So, I smooshed with Miranda instead. lol.

I agree that it felt more like a shooter than an RPG, especially if you compare it to Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins.
I heard that Bioware just recently expanded into your Ireland, and they'll be making games there also. :)

Like you said though, great game, and pretty addictive.

^^i actually did have sex with her lol but i went back and reloaded the save game because i didnt really want it to work out that way.

how did she die? did you do all loyalty missions and you have to be pretty spot on when assigning your squad members during the mission.

I did all the loyalty missions, but I failed with hers. I can't remember how... I might have said something mean. So, she didn't like me much lol. She died at the end scene, when everyone is running back to the ship, she got shot and just dropped lol.
