Argentina's squad for the WC:

Goalkeepers: Romero, Andujar, Pozo

Defenders: Otamendi, Heinze, Demichelis, Samuel, Garce, Burdisso, Rodriquez

Midfielder: Veron, Mascherano, Gutierrez, Di Maria, Maxi Rodriquez, Pastore, Bolatti

Forwards: Messi, Hiquain, Tevez, Aquero, Milito, Palermo

Good players. Shame they got a clown as coach. If he decides to skip Tevez and put on Milito instead there would be one player less who tries to take the shine from Messi. When Aguero stays as far from messi and the ball as possible they have a chance. Otherwise first round knock out.

Argentina's problem is that they lack a creative central midfield player to supply Messi. thats the reason Veron is in but he is getting too old now but he is capable of doing a job.

Diego Maradona added insult to injury when the Argentina manager ran over a journalist and then stopped to call him an “***hole” on route to his team’s World Cup squad announcement meeting.

Driving a Mini to a news conference, the 1986 World Cup winner was surrounded by newsmen but one was hit and he fell to the ground.

According to witnesses, Maradona’s car then rolled over the lower part of his leg.

“What an ***hole you are,” Maradona shouted from the car. “How can you put your leg there where it can get run over, man?”

Paramedics ran to the scene to attend to the cameraman who was taken away for further treatment.

The 49-year-old coach then delivered the names of the 23-man squad for the World Cup finals to the media.

Maradona has had a fractious relationship with the press in the past, once firing shots from an air-rifle to clear members of the media from outside his home.

The Argentina coach's World Cup preparation was earlier disrupted in March when he needed minor facial surgery after being bitten by his dog.

Maradona is a cunt. He should be charged. Cokehead fatass.

Argentina won't win the WC. Not a team, lacking class on some crucial positions.

I never said that we would win it.

Whether Maradona was the greatest ever is up for debate. Fact remains, dude lost it years ago already.

Since when did it become cool to run over people and insult them afterwards? I must've missed that memo.

^^he didnt run over him intentionally.

the idiot was so hell bent, as these idiot paparazzi are, to get a good shot that he fell out in front of his car and his leg run over. tough shit.

well i reckon ye are among the favourites and i would also put Argentina in that bracket.

It's still pretty low to insult someone you just ran over. Intentionally or not.

It's also not as if this was the first mind bogglingly stupid thing Maradona ever did.
If he wasn't Maradona he'd be long since in jail.

I still laughed pretty hard as I pictured Maradona pulling his head out of the car and yelling ASSHOLEEEEEE as he drives off. :D

ah get off you moral high horse

jesus christ. the press for the most part are scum bags. If you were being plaqued by them for most of your life you might not feel too bad about accidently driving over ones leg. Maradona is a legend. The more he does things like this the more he goes up in my estimation.

I've been plaGued by stupid people all my life, doesn't give me the right to run them over and be smug about it.

You're just being hypocrite about it cos it's your boi Maradona. If Henry did this, you'd be clamouring for his head on a pike.

Valdes has improved immensely as a goalkeeper in that past couple of seasons. surprised Senna was dropped. Carzorla didnt make it either.
