seriously though, FIFA might as well just start using a fucking beach ball. these modern footballs are terrible. they swerve and blow all over the place. I miss the old Adidas footballs from the 90's. I remember i had the WC 94, Euro 96, and France 98 ones. they were all similar but the pattern had a different colour. they were much heavier.

You're from Holland, I can see why you're not sold on Portugal. Much like I'm not sold on Holland. We'll play eachother again though with 20 yellow and reds cards handed to both teams and with Portugal winning again. 
Portugal is alright. I just think they don't have the allround quality this year.
And of course I would lynch Liedson myself given the chance.

So, Portugal played Cape Verde today in a friendly that finished 0 - 0 ... so I looked into it, and noticed many of Portugal's players are born there, but opted for the Portuguese jersey.
Here's some players who could have played for Cape Verde.
* Eliseu Pereira dos Santos - S.S. Lazio
* Nani - Manchester United
* Ricardo Faty - A.S. Roma
* Jacques Faty - FC Sochaux-Montbéliard
* Manuel Fernandes - Valencia CF
* Gelson Fernandes - Saint-Étienne
* Henrik Larsson - Retired, now Manager for Landskrona BoIS
* Rolando - FC Porto
* Bobbie Friberg da Cruz - Kongsvinger
* David Mendes da Silva - AZ Alkmaar
* Valmiro Lopes Rocha - RCD Espanyol
* Nélson Marcos - Real Betis
* Miguel Monteiro - Valencia CF
* Celestino - Belenenses
* Helton Dos Reis - AS Saint-Étienne

They apparently have a lot of talent as a nation, but have been very unlucky in African qualifications as of late, not to mention much of their talent jump shit and head off to Portugal.
