Agreed. All of Nike's jerseys for the WC are the same templates. I've seen them all, just different colours, and not much imagination put into it.

Umbro have been a tad better, they're going more retro with all their kits.

It's all business nowadays. Some kits may look better than others, but for the most part, they're all similar with no great feat of imagination.

I'd like to see some of the kit manufacturers pick up custom made jerseys that fans have made. Some are simply amazing.

yea i prefer jerseys that have collars. always have.

my favourite that i own is the Sampdoria away shirt from the 2003/2004 season. Asics were the manufacturer. very nice jersey.

I have their home one from last season as well. Its similar to what they wear now. Kappa manufacture it. it looks nice but i feel like a ponse when i wear it lol because its so tight fitting.

I also like the Boca Juniors jersey i have from when they beat Real Madrid in the world club final.

I know the English FA had a fit when Beckham went to Japan with sponsers on his England shirt.

^^no they arent.

Ireland never have Eircom on their jersey when they play matches but Eircom is the sponsor. The Ireland jerseys you buy in the store have the Eircom on them.

SAO PAULO — Double World Cup winner Ronaldo, who is now playing for Sao Paulo's Corinthians, said Monday he would retire from professional football at the end of next year.

The three-times world footballer of the year aged 33 told a media conference he would continue to represent Corinthians afterwards, but only as an "ambassador."

"I've renewed for another two years and they will be the last of my career. I want to give my all. I hope to have fun and end with some big wins," he said, according to the G1 news website.

The 1994 and 2002 World Cup winner did not hide his aspirations of being called up to play for Brazil in South Africa in this year's World Cup.

"We'll see. I still have a chance to go. For the next one (in Brazil in 2014), it's impossible. It's so far away and time is passing -- including for me."

Apparently so, the European division which would manufacture Footy kits went bust. They'll continue with Rugby equipment as they always have.
