Yeah, I saw that. I read quickly on another forum (it was on Big Soccer) which I can't seem to find now that when Ireland did play them, that the German NT was extremely poor and couldn't exchange kits due to future expenses. The Irish team let the Germans have their jerseys without wanting theirs back in return. Also, the Irish scheduled first a friendly with Germany, but played it much later adds to the first myth. It was something along those lines anyways and it was quote by some guy in the DFB.

I'll have to find it again.

How would that make sense? Dunga brings him along cause he feels bad? This is the WC not primary school footy where all kids get a chance.

Only the best can be taken, and Ronaldo is far from the likes of Pato and more. Should somehow 90% of Brazil's strikers get pink eye and cannot attend the WC ... Ronaldo will probably on be chosen then. The man's had his prime, let him retire with dignity.

Here is the WC NTs kit lineup and that one England Umbro jersey. (The show was in London, so yeah ... Surprised to see that there? lol)

I think it's Jovanovic ... but his hair looks darker for some reason.

Nike wouldn't put any other players, since they're not as known; else from Stankovic

Yeah, I thought it was him, but Jovanovic has much lighter hair (I assumed they asked the boys to look nice for the cameras and put gel) ... You're right though, they probably grabbed whoever they could.

C. Ronaldo was too busy presenting the new Nike Vapors Superfly II. They look as fruity as him.

Just an observation - Brazil will be hosting the 2014 World Cup, they will also be hosting the 2016 Summer Olympics. Yet, half of their population live in boxes around the Favalas. lol.

tell me about that

and all the new arenas that will be constructed will be payed with public money
The arena from my city which was going to be 100% private money wasnt approved

Thats easier to the politicians get fat bribes...
They will build stadiums at fucking unknown cities which doesnt even have a football team.... like Manaus (just cuz is in the middle of the Amazon and FIFA wants a "green" image) and others....
the $$$ prevision already doubled...and the government (populist Lula) is fucking happy (election year 2010) distributing money all around....

Same shit with Olympics... but with the sports facilities....oh wait that happened with the Pan American Games too....

same shit different actors...

workers in South Africa building the world cup stadiums are being paid just 88 cents an hour. Some were sacked for striking over this wage and their poor working conditions.

FIFA also sued numerous small time companies in South Africa for trying to cash in on the World Cup being staged in their country. These included a sweet company who had 2010 on their sweet or something like that. Surely this organisation that had a turnover of nearly 200 million last year wouldnt begrudge these small time companies benefiting from the World Cup being staged in their country. They did though and successfully sued a few of them.

Ticket prices for the World Cup games mean that the majority of African's wont be able to afford to go the games. So much for promoting football in Africa

FIFA is a horrible corrupt organisation.. YOu should read up about FIFA and their dealings with corrupt business, organisations etc.
