I'm not denying that he's still a good player, i'm just saying he isn't as good as he used to be..which was my original point. He is actually 5th top scorer now with 8, Et'o is top with 17.

If he was as half as good as some people make him out to be, he'd be top scorer and Real Madrid wouldn't be third in the La Liga.

Ronaldo's pace was second to none, his dribbling ability was and still is amazing, was the top scorer for a number of seasons. His club records speak for themselves.

And Interesting note, Gerry Armstrong mentioned this if Ronaldo had played every game this season they wouldn't of lost as they have won evey time he played or drew and he either scored or made a goal.

Ronaldo is their main striking threat. He is better then most strikers in the world including Rooney. Rooney is a good player, but he should score more than he does for someone hyped up as much as he is. He was as half as good blah blah Man Utd should be much closer to Chelsea and still in the CL

Btw regarding Jibsters point, I dunno how old Ronaldo was at Barcelona but his record was 46 goals in 48 games.
