Predictions for tomorrow? Showdown in Group C. These matches are crazy important.

Argentina - Serbia & Montenegro

Holland - Ivory Coast

We should just beat Ivory Coast, period. Then we can whatever we want against the Argies. Ivory Coast is dangerous, I think their sharp offense can score against our (too often) shaky defense (Those AZ players aren't consistent). However, their own organization is lacking and our constant pressure should yield us some goals ===> :thumb:

3-1 Holland

Argies - S&M should be interesting. Both teams will go full on, Argies need the points because I'm sure they don't want to rely on the match against us for their points. Serbs will have to work hard if they wanna remain in play. I think the Serbs will have a lot of problem with scoring due to Argentina's good organization and the Serbs lack of a good offense. Same story on the other half, Argies will need to play pressure football to create enough chances against the tough Serbians, and that's not their game. I don't really know what's it going to be, but in the end I'll think Argies will win because of individual quality.

1-0 Argies

I feel sorry for the Trinidad & Tobago. They justified their presence on this World Cup. They already achived more than some nations whose fans are dying to see them on the World Cup but they are at home. Take Ireland for an example... Yorke was amazing. He was on every part of the pitch. Real leader. Despite England's domination T & T could even score. I still think about that chance in the last moments of the first half...
Ecuador is one very tough team but nothing special. They play good on counter attacks. They transformation from defensive play to offensive during these two matches was great. Their strikers are the best pair of strikers so far on this tournament. For something more they have to prove themselves. If they don't loose against Germany they will escape England.
Costa Rica disappointed me. They play so unmotivated and slow which I can't belive after some of their previous matches. I guess they are satisfied just with the arriving on this World Cup. Too bad.
Sweden is unbelivebly bad. So many experienced players and great potential and their play still sucks. I doubt that they can make something on this World Cup but with them you can never know...
My favourite team from the South America Paraguay played so unorganized that watching them was really disturbing. With two legendary players, which are just shadows of what they used to be, and three big hopes they are on their way to home. They dreamed too much but they failed to fulfill that on the pitch.
What to say about England? Another (un)expected poor performance. Either this World Cup is the Eriksson's big revenge either the self-proclaimed favourites forget how to play football. They won the first game by own goal in 3rd minute (also tried to score after that but they failed). In the second game they won again but how?
Pretendets on a trophy were hold by the team, which had their debut on a big scene just couple of days ago, until 85th minute. Not to mention that most players of T & T play in lower leagues in England. It was the agony in front of loyal fans for England and heroic resistance from the brave 'Soca Warriors'. But, honestly England players should be ashamed. Gerrard and Lampard hardly play together successful although they are really trying. Defence was good but the real temptations are yet to come. England coach was forced to put unprepared Rooney just to raise moral of his team. He didn't show much but he's probably the only one, besides Beckam, which can play constantly on this tournament. Owen was weak so he was substituted for the second time in a row. As for the Crouch... This guy calls himself a footballer. England is one of the few countries on the World where characters like this could be chosen to reperesent country on the World Cup. He's so funny that I actually started to enjoy when he's in the game. Typicall player from the Island which doesn't have technique although he's tall and can use his head to score goals but not to think. I'm not angry because he scored against T & T but that goal just launched him as a starter for the next matches which isn't good for England at all. Peter Crouch is a pathetic excuse for not calling more serious strikers like Darren Bent, Jermaine Defoe & Andy Johnson under the flag.

bye bye poland.

i think that T&T were better than expected. in fact i think most underestimate countries like angola, ghana were better than expected. or at least they were for me. the only thing that i think they all dont have is organization. they dont take their opportunity to score.

england sucks france too. i want both team outta the competition. they are mad deceiving.

^for such teams with a nice history, they could at least try to top their hype. its like some guy was telling me: "france is gonna win they got zidane." zidane is shit nowadays. dude is old and is ready for retirement.

Carmi displays a hint of football knowledge. I am pleasantly surprised. :p

Troublesome, I disagree with you on Crouch. He's a decent player. I admit he's not the best out there, but he certainly has his qualities. He played an unlucky match yesterday.

Zidane is not shit. He's not the powerhouse he used to be, but he still has juice in him. He and Makalele is the only reason France has qualified. They brought up the french moral and they are both a commanding force (due to experience also) in les bleus. Cisse has been a major loss for France, that's for sure. The rest of the players just can't seem to work together despite their talents. France will qualify to the round 16, but I don't expect them to win it.

i wouldnt be able to name you some players names cause i really cant remember players and names BUT i do possess enough knowledge of football to comment about it and understand it fully. ;)

Vilareal officials are in Milan trying to buy one of Milan players. guess who?

fuckin Deda  Why do a team that is looking for a good defense look for such a shitty goal keeper? thats a big fuckin hole in the back.

Anyways i really want to see him out of Milan.

It doesnt matter who we will face in the next round. We will beat both, Sweden and England. Even tough i think Sweden will beat England in the last game ;)

And Duke, i dont think Holland will beat Ivory Coast with 3:1. Actually i hope they will win, lol. If they play as well as they did in the first match they have good chances to beat your ass.

Oh yeah, and Argentina will win.

I agree BeReal - we will beat both of em.
By the way that goal of Crouch was illegal. If the referee would have taken care of watching sharp enough, he would have seen that Crouch has been pulling on his opposing players hair!
No shit !!! German TV showed that in close up and super slow-mo.

His only quality is his height. He knows nothing about passing and technique. But, he's such type of player that England needs. He basically just put pressure on the defenders while other striker by that have more space. On this tournament we had severall tall players which are far better than him. Think about Koller, Venegor Of Hasselink, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet and even Zigic. If Wanchope was younger he'll be in this group too. ;)

Papers in France claim that Zidane's performance against Suisse was his best in the national team in past two years.

I think that they actually want Toldo. He also plays in a Milano side. :)

The funny thing is that he didnt use it yestarday. He is tall but he cant jump.

I guess you missed the winning goal then?

Yesterday was a difficult game, Trinidad got 11 men behind the ball at all times and made it very difficult to break them down. The difference between a good team (England) and an average one (Sweden) is that we eventually broke through, then as soon as they had to come out of defence we got another. The fact is though that we created plenty of chances but poor finishing let us down, Owen needs to be sharper and Crouch needs to take his chances but i do rate him, especially with the supply from Beckham.

Anyway, i'll let the record speak for itself. Played 2, won 2, conceded none and already qualified. I fancy us to beat any team that has to have a bit of a go at us, we have the players to turn them around and get at them if they do. We wouldn't want to peak too early like Germany now would we! ;)

I dont want to talk shit but the English talk too much and they will be out soon unless they play with a team that is not all that (which will happen) then maybe and i say maybe they will go a lil further.
