I said Lahm was good, but if you're relying on a left back for creativity then you should be worried. There's no way you'd get that many chances against England or any of the big boys. None of the big boys have threashed anyone but they've not been exposed at the back either, except Germany. :D

Oh yeah, Metzelder  Nearly as bad as Matthaus is 2000!
Exposed? One mistake = one goal. Second one was offside. So basically Costa Rica had one chance and yesterday Poland had....zero. So, only one chance in two games is not that bad if you ask me.

Metzelder is not as good as in 02 because he had some serious injuries in the last two years.

And Matthäus, well hes the second best player we ever had....dont ridicule him

Oh yeah, and we will beat Ecuador, im 100% sure.

Ive been pleasantly surprised with Ecuador. They play as a team, are good individually and put in the effort.

Their right winger Mendez played very well against Costa Rica today.

Question:

Why is it England and not the UK? Couldn't they make one stronger team? Or does it not matter? Could people from Scotland play for England anyway (does being a citizen of the UK make you a citizen of all the smaller countries)? How does that work?

Ok, the self-called favourite is not able to score against Trinidad and Tobago or at least dominate them + get some chances to score? Why do they shoot the ball from defense to offense when they have (at least i thought so) the best midfield in the world? Trinidad had two very good chances to score....Jibby, what are you thinking about this? Crouch, lol......embarrassing.

you can play for whatever country you want if you have their passport...

there's a few other conditons but you have brazilians playing for croatia, tunisia, bosnia, japan....

You have Bosnians playing for Sweden, Switzerland, Austria

You have Poles playing for Germany, etc...

But I doubt that some Scot would chose to play for England...unless he's a fan of Rangers *looks at DPG* :p

Yeah, I know all that. Like Klose playing for Germany instead of Poland. But why isn't there a UK team? Why is it the smaller ones? Because honestly, is Wales going to have a great team? No.

And does being a citizen of the UK make you a citizen of each of the smaller countries? (i.e. you're born in Scotland, but since that's the UK, you're automatically a citizen of England as well?)

I know England will probably win this game but....what will happen if they dont? Thuggy? Jibby? Illu?......Maybe Rooney helps out and scores one goal.

I think that it's the other way around... If you are Born in Scotland, you are a Scot with an UK passport...

and there's no English Passport, Welsh passport, etc...

And the Welsh have a pretty ok team...they are ok...

Dunno might feel like you did when Germany drew 0-0 with Latvia.
