Yup it is, alot of teams havent played well in their first game, i think people were expecting alot of Brazil, but like the rest of the fancied nations they will get better.

Yeah first games were really surprising. Brazilians make many mistakes

Honestly, i cant believe how bad the france game has become over the last few years. They only scored 10 times in the qualification, their game is so lame....le grande nation, pff.
Was it really that bad? and what about the Togo VS Korea 2nd half? was it good? is it worth to watch it?

I can't stand France anyway.

Damn Brazil was playing much too passive. They treat croatians like some kids they havin fun with. Plus theyre too lazy

what are you crazy or some shit??? Croatians pressed Brazil like hell...

Tudor (#5) was half-marking Ronaldinho during the whole game. Everytime Brazil went in attack, Tudor blocked Ronaldinho (it was foulesque, but he didn't have the ball, so no foul)

I liked this game a lot. Croatia played great IMO. Had some chances, but then again, you are playing Brazil.

Whoever expected a 5-0 win, you are a bunch of fuckers. Stop understimating teams from the Balkans, they are better than you think. :thumb:

Well done, Zilians. Croats played well, though. They attacked and didnt give the Zilians much room, but then agian, they only need one chance to score.

Croats lacked the finishing touch up front. Very frustrating to watch. Prso played well, even though he lacked the finishing touch as well. Ronaldo was shit, Adriano was invisible. Ronaldhino and Kaka played well.

lol

Ronaldo is such a shitty player. He just walks over the pitch, has like 10 ball contacts in 60 minutes......lame.
What about Adriano? alot will be made of Ronaldo's poor performance, Adriano didn't do much better either.

Plus Ronaldo had a decent shot from outside the area..while Adriano missed from 6 yards out.

How Hizzle ran onto the pitch.
Yes indeed. I started a run a la Forrest Gump from Canada to Germany, and Berlin's stadium was on my way.

But the Croatian fans were fucking great tonight... they sang during the whole second half.

Ronaldinho played well under the circomstences that he was definitly going to be covered cuz he's their best playmaker (then again, in Brazil, the keeper is a playmaker)

The biggest problem in Croatia's game was #19, Kranjcar, he is too slow for this level. He is 19 yes, but he lacks pace way too much.

Yes Croatians played well but Brazilians if they would play on 100% it could be 5-0. They were playing really easy on croatians. Croatians were playing really agressive n Brazilians were passive. Croatians made many good actions butnone of them were good enought. Brazilians havent had many good situations but easily scored. They made many mistakes, it was easy to see that they were just "playing" with croatians.

Yeah the Croats did really well reigning Brazil in. It's Brazil's quality that they can keep up the good field play and attack despite the direct pressure. Made for an interesting game with momentum swinging to both sides. IMO, best game I've seen so far along with Argies - Ivory C.

Uhm, no. They werent playing easy on the Croats, they Croats forced them to slow down. Big difference.

anybody care to explain the meaning of pace?
The speed of the play, being able to keep up with a fast pace. Being able to switch quickly between attacking and defending (ie having ball posession or not).

If you lack pace, it means the player is physically and/or mentally (too) slow on the pitch.

what?? they weren't playing with Croatians, the Cros fucking pressed the whole 90 minutes...

Pace is basicly speed and acceleration.
