World Cup 2006

Mexico 3 vs 1 Iran

By the way mexico just showed that they are superior than the other 3 teams in group D. Sorry but portugal didn't manage anything on a game against a first timer in the WC. Iran played incredible better than both Angola (who didn't know how to reach the opponent's goal zone) and Portugal (who didn't take advantage of angola's poor showing and scored only one goal).

I hate how Mexico gets no respect. Times change.

Brazilian reporters were interviewing Croatians in Germany. When asked about the match and Ronaldinho, most Croatians replied with: "Ronaldinho... Who's that?" LOL. I can't wait.

Klasnic + Prso in front = deadly combination. :D :thumb:

Ho ho, wait a minute. The only reason Mexico won this game was because the defensive player of Iran made a big mistake. Yes, Mexico was better than Iran, especially in the second half but i still think they wouldnt have scored without the "support" of Iran.

Will the US win? Can Australia's dream continue and how will the Azzuri come round this year?

All shall be revealed later today.

I'm 7 Syns, thanx for reading.

Ok this is officially bullshit. Australia's goalkeeper was CLEARLY being violated by the fucking Jap's. It was CLEAR that they knudged him away from hitting the ball away. How the fuck could the officials NOT SEE THIS?

And is anyone else getting sick of the Japanese theatrics when they get fouled? A little knudge and they go flying, do a few rolls on the floor and start bitching like little women.

That goal was so fucking unfair that I'm so disgusted i dont even want to watch any of it anymore.

there was nothing wrong with the goal, a fault from the keeper.

For the matches played yesterday...
Mexico justified their strenght in the last 25 minutes. They were lost in the first half. The substitutes made change. I was cheering for them. Too bad for Borghetti. He's very good striker.
Iranian players looked stolid in the second half but overall they suprised many people. Thet need to improve their finish if they want to made it to the second round. Daei shouldn't play whole game, although he's still good. I expected more from Karimi.
I expected more from Portugal. Technically they are one of the best teams on the planet but they need to improve their pressing and concentration. Figo is best in action. With Pauleta they can score against anybody. When Deco join starters they'll be team to respect.
Angola suprised me. They were stong opponent to their former rulers. I watched some of their games recently and they were weak. This is far more better but still not enough to reach second round. They should use this World Cup to earn experience for next clashes. If they want better results Goncalves should allow Mantoras to play much more.
