France to win for me. What a story that'd be for Zidane is his last ever game. He deserves it for entertaining me so much this tournament.

BTW, i'm glad there is a backlash to diving now. Ronaldo gettin booed was what he deserved and the way Portugal were dropping to the deck was embarassing. I noticed Henry tried to stay on his feet much more (as he does in the Premiership) and the penalty was stonewall.

Portugal were shocking. For the second game in a row they didn't look like they were gonna score if they played all night.

Just FYI, Ricardo Carvalho have just admitted that he made contact with Henry and it was his mistake that costed the game and obviously, the penalty.

I thought it was a clear foul and I'm glad Ricardo was a man enough to admit that he did foul Thierry.

Very honest :thumb: Don't want to say it cost them the game, however. Portugal as a whole wasn't up to par so shoving all the blame on himself is very honourable, but not necessary.

Clear foul indeed. The ref's have been good so far in the semi's and quarter finals.

Christiano is "the man" because he knocked out England (according to The Sun/Mirror/The Daily Record ;)). Stefan is conviniently ignoring that he represents all that is wrong with football, diving, gamesmanship and tryin to get other professionals sent off.

Or maybe because he's the nearest thing to the mercurial Scottish wizard that is James McFadden.

I've got to hold my hands up folks, he's right.

To be honest i just love to watch England fail. Dont get me wrong i have nothing against the english at all, infact i love them! It's just that the english commentators are so boastfull, that's all.

Although saying all that what ronaldo done in the ronney incident to me was all above board, no big deal at all.

C Ronaldo is also a joy to watch imo.

Damn you have got a sense of humour.:)

Tell ya who else i have grown quite fond off, Sven ericksson!! he shimmied in an shimmied out with 27 million  Classic stuff.

It's really interesting how people immidiately started to hate Christiano Ronaldo after England was knocked out. I don't like him at all, his attitude, his selfish play and his immature really makes me laugh. But, at this World Cup he overcomed some of those things.
If the expulsion of Rooney is the main reason to hate the guy then I must say that you are just pathetic. Love and passion for own country it has to be stronger than for his club and team mates. Let me put this way, Ronaldo works in Manchester United, but he's and he'll forever be a Portugese. His love is strong than his commitment. So, what's happend in that game was natural. Why's all the big story about it? Maybe because of unreal expetations of English nation that they are capable to win this World Cup.
You should stop blaming Christiano Ronaldo and realize two things. First, your coach Eriksson. Life full of affairs and uncontrolled optimism. He took you so much money and did nothing. Funny thing is that you actually still paying him until the end of july. Second, Wayne Rooney. He's so childish. He made stupid mistakes on the pitch not just once before this World Cup. But, media potrayed him as a saviour of English football. With that burden he went to Germany and collapsed. You should educate your naughty boy about the fair play which you proudly mention on every step. And keep away certain creatures like Crouch from national team. Then, you'll achive more than quater finals.

Lol @ at all the Poms (who can't manage a win in any sport at the moment) venting at C. Ronaldo when the only people they should be angry at is their own team.

Lol @ the Poms loosing 5 - 0 to Sri Lanka also in Cricket and getting handed by the Aussies in Union.

peace.
