I don't see it that bad as you do BC, but the wars did cost a lot of money and I really wonder if this ain't a reason to stop sooner or later. Someone has to pay for all this. And the people do, while not really havin a social system, that is what I can't understand. People are starvin in the streets, can't get their medicin, etc etc and still people support Bush's plans. I agree with ya 100% BC but one of the problems is we as the common person have no say in if we go to war or not, unfortunately our congress was stupid enough to grant Bush the ability to wage war for whatever reason he saw fit. I believe that unless its a time of national emergency we the citizen should make that decison, hold a vote or somthing instead of letting a bunch of politicians who's children will never see combat make that choice. Unfortunately that'll never happen. Sometimes i wonder if Bush will even step down when his next 4 years are up or will he make up some bullshit an have congress make an accpetion to the constitution that will allow him to stay.

Agreed. The war in Iraq was about trading oil in US$ and not Euro's. It has nothing to do with American security and will undoubtable cause a much larger chain reaction in the future.

I dont see America being able to fight two more wars like they have in Iraq considering they will need to stay in Iraq for at least anohter 5 years if not more.

Don't agree with some of what you said but America won't be able to afford many more wars. The oil they're stealing should've made up some of the money lost in Iraq but really, that's going straight into the pockets of big buisness (as is the rebuilding of a raped country) & the American government, & more importantly, the American people will see not a penny.

As for the economy - I don't think it looks good.

Still, 9/11 was a wake up call, just one that America didn't heed.

I agree with everything you said, but it'll be years before the US leaves the Middle East.There's still Syria and Iran, that would ofcourse, be a disastrous mistake, as other countries and military groups'd be more than willing to join the battle.
