i got a PS2 and an xbox and a gamecube....honestly i was always a sony fan until i got that Xbox...when games come out thats available for all 3 systems i will cop the Xbox version because the graphics are superior, i got the PS2 an GCube for exclusive shit that only comes out for their systems

now PS3 & Xbox 2 is said the next gen. game machines are gonna pretty much be on the same level graphic wise is what i read.

ps3 has the cell processor, so it will outperform xbox 2

i got a ps2 and i think it is shit. obviously graphics are a joke, and for some reason i just don't like playing any of the games ive got. i think splinter cell blows, crawling on pipes and such is real fun, but all i ever do is just shoot out light bulbs. ps3 and xbox2 both look real tight.

imo, pc shits on console any day......because of a mouse, rts's are easier to play.more games, dont have to dick around with paying for online starter packs, a good majority of pc games come with internet features. although you have to pay shits of money for a decent graphics card, i'll settle for my mediocer $100 one.

damn this shit is lame i got a PS2 its got certain things about it better then x-box then at the same time vice versa for me when i played halo 2 on x-box it was the bomb i`ll admit but remember the controller is the size of a fuckin shoebox its 2 big 2 hold and shit as the p2 isnt but at the same time i like what games are on each but majority are offered in both and as for selection in video stores the racks are packed with p2 and less 4 x-box mind u graphics dont mean shit 2 me cause my standards r low the only gaming systems i ever played besides p2 were super nintendo and sega saturn anyways its a difference of opinion itll vary but as 4 metal gear solid and splinter cell im sry but mgs beats it anytime when i was playing the action was more inetnse 4 me although i never passed it i enjoyed playing it. Xbox is good for online games, but if it didn't have that it would just be a beefed up version of the PS2 cos they both get the same big games. The PS2 doesn't have to rely on online gaming to survive, thats why it's better.

I dont have a xbox but im workin on it i have a ps2 and its good online and i feel there is a more game range in ps2 for me than xbox but xbox has those select titles i want halo,halo2, knights of the old republic

the facts:

1. xbox has better graphics, its not eve close
2. ps2 has better games (although most systems have both the same games, the games are essentially designed for ps2, halo and splinter cell excluded)
3. ps2 has a much MUCH larger fanbase and therefore dominates console wars
4. ps2 has better controller and its online is free which makes me happy

Yes PS2 has more games.. however, in that mix of games they release, half of them are shitty ass titles that no one will ever touch... and as for the debate on the controller issue... you can get a smaller version of the xbox controller, which I have, and it's far superior than the huge ass xbox controller...

And the 'smaller' xbox pad is still huge, makes playing certian games very difficult whereas the PS2 controller is pretty good on most games.

The beauty of xbox is replacing the hard drive with a bigger one, chipping the xbox and installuing unleashX or EvolutionX on it. Being able to play around all you want and store games. :thumb: this is true i love being able to just borrow a game from blockbuster copy it to my hard drive whilst everyone else hands over $70. btw my mod chip still allows me to play xbox live on it- and its been well over a year since i got it done

ps2 has more games, (it does) aside from halo and a few exclusives, ps2 has better games, u cant deny that. grand theft auto, gran turismo, metal gear, etc.
ps2 has a larger installed base, therefore it wins the console war (read, it makes more money, its in more homes, its more played) again true, i never said it was better than xbox
