The Big Summer Transfer Thread

Yeah, but I still don't see what they want with Kalou. He's got a promisin future, but aint there yet. He scored as a striker only 7 times or something last year.

lol 5.5million is too much for a striker who will score like 8 goals. He wont get double figures. Shouldve bought Ellington back.

I hope Arsenal ends up getting Saviola. I've been a big fan of Javier ever since his River Plate days and damn, he is fast and skillful. It would also add depths to the Gunners attacking front, however, there may be too many competition up front if he does join us. Too bad FC Barcelona isn't as good as Arsenal in nurturing youngsters ie: letting go of Fabregas at such a young age. ;) :thumb:

Damn... mixed feelings. :p But I would rather see a great talent to go to Arsenal than Bolton. I'm sure Wenger will be quite a motivation for Javier to get his form back. He was awesome on some of the games for Argentina on this year's WC.

In saying all that, I'm quite pleased with the signing of Rosicky. It's always good to see that you're team is thinking of the future as well as current present. ;)

Man Utd Fans: What do you think of the future of Van Nistelrooy?

Despite all the talk I think he'll stay at United, i'd be surprised if he didn't finish his career there.

If United are going to bring in Torres, then I can see Ruud going to Bayern Munich. Torres/Rooney/Saha/Rossi is a powerful strikeforce.

I just hope United used the money from Ronaldo - assuming he goes - and whatever other money they have, to improve the midfield.

Anybody have some concrete news on Dario Srna? It's been rumored that Liverpool is interested, Portsmouth, Sevilla...

Anybody have any insider news? lol

I'm hearing £7m + Hargreaves for van Nistelrooy. I'd be happy with that. Then we could use the transfer budget to bring in Torres and, if we sell Ronaldo, use the £20m+ we get for him to bring in a replacement.

Supposedly Madrid are going to bid £26m for Ribery, so that might mean they won't bid for Ronaldo.

Dietmaar Hamaan quick switch to Bolton ends him at Man City. :p

Good ol' Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink have joined Charlton on a free-transfer. Damn, Jimmy was awesome back then. :thumb:

Peace~
