Liverpool dont look as bad now.

So for the first time since 1995, the FA Cup champions will not be from the big 4 in the premiership. Its good for the game. I think Portsmouth have what it takes although you would never know.

I'm scared sometimes to do skills because some players do unbelievable fouls and the ref protects the defender, not the skilled player!
What a bitch. Did you ever hear Maradona or any of the real great players talking like this. Its obvious that Ronaldo isnt able for the tough side of the game of football. Maradona was kicked off the pitch by the English in 1986 and look at what his answer was.Look at the treatment Pele got is some games. Same for Zidane. they didnt bitch about it to the media afterwards.great player my fucking arse.

Same applies for Kaka, although he is a better player than Ronaldo.

It always whinge, whinge when Man Utd lose a game isnt it?

You know CRonaldo is more physical than most people think...But you always seem to have a moan about CRonaldo for one reason or another :)

oh and its always "yanks out" or "rafa out" When Liverpool lose right? All the big four are sore losers.

^^Well saying things like Yanks Out or Rafa Out isnt really the same as constant whinging by Alex The pig for a full week every time Man Utd lose.

I read today that Daniel Agger is out for the rest of the season. I have heard rumours(a guy from work heard this when he was over at the West Ham game last week) that Agger actually failed a drugs test after the Champs League final last season and is suspended and not injured. His injury is a bit of a mystery. It happend in training and everytime he is about to comeback he suffers a setback in training. Alonso has had the same injury twice since Agger broke his foot. Its a bit strange but id imagine it would have leaked out if he was banned and he has played reserve matches since. I think that if he was suspoended then he wouldnt be able to play for the reserves either.

^^He has played a few games recently and has been ok. He missed the Inter game because his wife was expecting a baby. Lucas is a good prospect in that position as well.

^^i agree. Alonso is a smashing player when he is fit and at his best. I hope we hold on to him but it is rumoured that himself and Benitez have had numerous bust ups this season, so he might be sold in the summer.

I take it Derby save there performances at their home games vs the likes of Liverpool and Man Utd  Maybe they should always play like this so they dont look so pathetic.

Tevez was rested.

I dont expect them to lie down...you missed my point. Derbys best performances barring the games against Newcastle were against Liverpool and Man Utd. Why cant they put in that much effort against Wigan or someone else from the bottom half. Then they might have more than 10 pts.

^^Well Liverpool beat them 6-0 earlier on in the season.

There is another way of looking at it. Perhaps Man Utd took it for granted that they would win comfortably today and never got out of first gear.

I mentioned the home game v Liverpool.

Possibly that is another way of looking at it, but they seemed more dangerous than they did v Sunderland.

Im not sure about them ruining Boumsong. He joined from Rangers after previously playing for Auxerre. Now the french or scottish leagues aren't exactly the strongest so he wasnt tested as much therefore his shortcomings weren't exposed. When he had to step up to the premiership or serie a, he couldnt do it. Also, take into consideration that he was playing alongside Bramble. Im not sure if Boumsong was ever a good defender to begin with. He had a good game for Lyon against Man Utd in the first leg though.

Emre, is injured alot but yea he didn't fit in to Allardyce's tactics. He still shows glimpses of what he can do when he plays.

as for Owen, his biggest mistake was leaving Liverpool when he did. Injuries have taken their toll on him as well. He isnt as quick as he was which was his strength. I would give him more time though.

Damien Duff, was brilliant for Blackburn and was one of Chelsea's best players the the first year they won the league. Then he got injured alot and seemed to lose all his confidence. He stopped trying to beat players and instead plays deep and plays simple passes. I think Mourinho ruined him. He reminds me of Kewell a bit. There were times when Duff would get the ball and beat 4 or 5 players. Injuries have fucked him up a bit as well.

Stephen Carr, once touted as one of the right backs in Europe. Again, injuries have fucked him up as well. He is nowhere the player he was.

In alot of cases, Newcastle spend big money on players who were never really good to begin with or are in decline.

It sayes something about a team when their best player for the past 2 or 3 (since Shearer retired anyway) is their goalkeeper.

Another thing, a lot of their players over the years are very injury prone. Maybe their fitness coaches are shit?

I hope Newcastle do go down, their fans could do with a reality check. And if they do, I can't see many of their players staying at the club. As bad as some of them are, I can still see most of them getting into other Premiership clubs.

^^My brother is a big Newcastle fan. but you are right they do need a reality check. You should go over and look at the Newcastle message board for a laugh. They make these threads about what players they should sign and they mention big names players that Newcastle haven't a hope of signing in their current state. Fair enough, they could attract big names to the club 10 years ago because they were doing well but they cant do it now. The fans dont seem to realise this. I saw a funny post there yesterday. A guy mentioned that Torres scored again for Liverpool(or rats as they called them) and then another guy responed with "ah Torres, the player we could have signed". Now why the fuck would Torres have ever considered joining Newcastle. When they lose games, its always sack the manager as well.

I dont want them relegated because my brother will probably tear the house apart.
