The difference? I think that the Birmingham players were told before the game to hit Arsenal hard at the start of the game. Taylor probably didn't mean to break Eduardo's leg but he did mean to "do" him.I have no doubt about that.I would probably blame that ginger cunt Mcleish as much.
Which small team doesn't go out and say "lets hit them hard" That was Blackburn and Boltons main gameplan. Defenders normally go in hard on a striker in the first few minutes, Taylor just got it badly wrong. I remember Hierro taking out Ruud Van Nistelrooy in the first few seconds once.

Sevilla won 5-0 v Zaragoza last nite.

Zarazoga seemed to have a good side but have failed this season, Aimer and D'allesandro (although now sold) in the same side wasnt the perfect balance.

Spurs beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup :D

Yea, they are having a lot of problems this season. Is Diogo still playing right back for them?

Spurs deserved to win. They have been in great form recently.

Anyone see Cassano's celebration after his goal today? He seemed to be saying to the sampdoria supporters that he is staying here. He should stay put anyway.

Yea Diogo is, great attacking Right Back. I like him, was surprised Madrid decided to release, although Sergio Ramos is a god. Speaking of which Madrid lost at home to Getafe and Barca thrashed Levante.

Oh and Cassano, I always thought of him as a waste of talent, if hes finally back to his best good. He was dreadful at Real Madrid, he stated that "hes not dead yet" at the start of the season but followed it up with "I will not change" his attitude has needed to change.

^^ yeah it just looked like that. That's what I think.

still, you have to be stupid in the head to go like that to a player. He broke his leg, he intentionaly went to take him down, not break his leg, but take him down.

If you wanna take someone down fucking slide, dont jump on his leg...

For some reason I have the impression that you (illu) are defending Taylor just because Eduardo is an Arsenal player. I doubt it, but I just have that impression.

He was trying to win the ball and mistimed his tackle, he's stupid in the head for this? It's clear to most people who have seen it that he didn't intentionally go in to take Eduardo out.

How many times have you watched that video? How did he jump on his leg? He had every right to go in for the ball, he went for the ball and mistimed it. You can usually tell when a player tries to take out a player instead of going for the ball...

As much as I dislike Arsenal, I'd be saying the same thing about any player. It's just that the Arsenal fans I've discussed this with have been very hypocritical.

Eduardo himself has said that "these things happen", so at least someone from Arsenal is being level-headed.

Was looking at pictures of the incident in the papers today and also the incident in slow motion and i still think that he meant to hurt Eduardo because not only is he extremely late, his foot is high and his studs are showing. Also, consider the ferocity of the tackle. It is absolutely sickening. I read today that only for the quick thinking of the Arsenal medical staff, Eduardo would have had to have his foot amputated. They said it will take at least 9 months to get back to the level he was playing at.

Are you telling me that if a player goes in with his foot over the ball and his studs showing that he isnt trying to hurt the player?Obviously he didnt want to break the players leg so badly but when you go in like that you will do damage.

Don't be criticizing Arsenal either for not being "level headed". Im sure if it happened to that prick Ronaldo then we would never hear the end of it from Ferguson.

Leave C.Ronaldo out of it for once.

Also I find it funny Wenger saying that to stop Arsenal you have to kick them...but didnt Gallas Kick Nani intentionaly

some dude in the English media said "If this has happened to an English player and a Croatian player was at fault, the Queen of England would be screaming injustice."

He's right... And it's fucking obvious that he went to TAKE HIM DOWN! Jesus fucking Christ, the guy has played 3 games this season! Of course he was fucking sent in the field to goon on Adebayor and Eduardo! Every low-table team does that, why do you have to close your eyes about this?
It's not even the fact that it's Eduardo, but it's definitly Birmingham's coach who told him to take them down, obviously not break his leg, but definitly take him down!

I also think that the coach should be blamed for this! And knowing McLeish, this doesn't surprise me.
