I was just about to say the contract thing. How do i look like a dumbass when your the one hating on a guy you kow nothing about. He is a cocky athlete who is good makes plays and does his thing. Be real, who doesnt want more money. See that is the difference between us, you try to state things you read in articles and waht not, but i look at it from a societal view, so of course we will disagree, but hey im wrong, T.O wants money and he deserves it because he is one of the top receivers in the league. And again, do you really think T.O calls every reporter before practice and says watch what im going to do today? The press eats off of him, they follow him around even to his house to watch him shoot hoops. Be real, the press invite them to do interviews, T.O is who people talk about, it is not his fault for being popular. Maybe he wants popularity, is that bad? People are all going to hate on him until he plays and makes the touchdowns and gets the wins. But how dare he get injured and skip a practice, or ask for money. All that negros job is to be a work horse and play football. How dare he try to get money.

T.O. invited the press to his place the other day for his little stunt while he did sit ups in front of the camera. It wasn't the other way around.

Well I saw clips from the interview he did with Drew Rosenhaus talking about why he got suspended, and he makes himself look like more of a moron than ever. Coach tells him to shut up, so he tells him to shut up, saying "Last time I checked, my name isn't Reid, I'm not one of his kids" Bitch, that is your coach, he is essentially your boss. If he tells you to shut up, YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP. But no, he thinks they have to respect him. I swear when this guy talks, all I hear is "WAAAAAHHHHH, WAAAAAAHHHHHH!" That's OK, the Eagles have officially said that he either plays under the contract he has, or he doesn't play. They aren't gonna cut him, he'll just end up sitting on the sidelines all year. This man has to realize he isn't the most important person on the team. Football isn't a one man sport, it's a team sport. And yes, his contract isn't all that good, but 3.25m doesn't exactly "suck", and besides, most NFL contracts are structured so that you earn less in the first years and get more in the back end. If he had a problem with the contract, then why did he sign it? He waived all his rights to bitch and complain when he signed it imo.

exactly

It's all because he's jealous of McNabb. He can't be as popular, so he wants to be paid more.

Don't bring race into this, that has absolutely nothing to do with this. I hate crybaby athletes, whether they are black, white, brown, yellow, green whatever the color. Explain what me or anyone else being white has anything to do with this.

^Try not to insult, not only someone you know nothing about, but the intelligence of someone you know nothing about, go read some sports page or something.
LMAO, please dont tell me race has nothing to do with this. If this was Brett Favre, Manning or Brady it would be ok that he asks for more money. But that is not what i was saying.
White people see things different, you care about the presonal life and shit, get all tied up with this shit. I can care less dude is trying to make money, big deal , let him score his points and make you white people happy, they are the modern day slaves after all. Everyone gettin upset and shit, who gives a fuck, a man is trying to prosper, whoever wants no man to prosper is a straight hater, T.O. is going about how he knows best, like he said, they dont pay him to sign autographs and talk to people, they pay him to score and put people in the stands. He is being stubborn who gives a fuck, like your going to care as soon as he reaches the end zone, but you will care again as soon as he picks up a sharpie or a pom pom. So dont tell me race has nothng to do with this, white peole look at things differently, it is no big deal, let the man get his paper and say thank you for entertainment.
Bank robber dont be ignorant and act like racism does not only exist but plays a huge role in everyday life of people.

Dude, you are making way too many assumptions. To be honest, I loved it when he pulled out the sharpie and signed the ball, I thought that was priceless. But there is this thing in sports called sportsmanship, and TO has very little of it. And race has nothing, not a goddamn thing to do with it. If Peyton Manning was on TV crying about wanting more money, I'd say the exact same thing. You may not realize this, but not all white people think the same and only support white people. Of course racism still exists, but you seem to have the belief that all white people are still racist, and that is straight bullshit. Right now you are the only one being racist by making assumptions about people's opinions based on their skin color. Read the article I posted, and you'll see why it's a big deal that he didn't want to sign autographs.

I'm not making assumptions directly about you but of society as a whole, and don't try to tell me there are more black people mad at him than whites, white people are angry, like we stole their country from them or something. Bullshit, if Manning asked for more money he would get it first of all, and you'd see everyone saying he deserves it. Why can't you see the correlation between race and this. Only white people get mad at this, everyone else laughs and says pay him. Same with Barry aint no one give a fuck, we want to see him beat Ruth' homerun count. And yes my assumptions are true in my eyes cus i see it daily, dont get mad cus i come in here offering a DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEW and my opinion.
Also i see your from Canada, people are fucking nice up there, no lie, but the majority of whites in the states is pissed at T.O for no reason, he aint done nothing to them except see him on TV askin for a raise. Really, how do you not see how people, especially because of race, relate and see things differently.

I can see that, but you are still making a broad assumption about all white people, you aren't saying some white people, or even most white people. You are saying white people. That's like me saying black people are criminals. Anyway, my point isn't that he's asking for more money, it's the way he does it. Don't front like the media is giving him all this unwanted attention, he wants it. He's the one who is on ESPN, talking about shit that should stay between him and Andy Reid. He's the one who's taking shots at Donovan McNabb. Even if it's true what he said about McNabb, you don't say that shit. It's really his attitude that pisses me off, this I'm the greatest attitude that bothers me. You see guys like Michael Jordan, he's humble, he doesn't brag about how good he was, he didn't show off, he played his game and that was it. Or, a better example since we're talking about football, Jerry Rice. You don't see him sticking his face in the cameras, trying to get attention, even when he was in his prime (and he was much better than TO when he was in his prime, no one can touch JR). TO makes a show of the way he plays because he craves attention. Most of these other guys who are holding out aren't doing the things that Owens is doing. Like I said before, he needs to realize that he is not more important than the whole team. And I don't care who you are or how good you are, you respect your coach. If he tells you to shut up, you shut up. You don't act like a child and tell him to shut up

I'd like to see Griffey beat Ruth if he still can, or Manny, or whoever else isn't a fucking prick. Not wanting to see Ruth beaten has nothing to with Bonds being black. He's a fucking cheating asshole. No one bitches about Hank Aaron, or says that he shouldn't count because he's black.

Does Terrell deserve more than $3.25 million? Yes. Should he get it? No. Why? Because he should uphold the agreement he signed. He shouldn't be a dick to his teammates and coach, or the team that went through hell to get him so he could be on a winning team. Does Terrell forget that the Eagles gave him a new contract and didn't have to? If he oculd've made more in free agency, he should've went. I said this same shit about Vince Carter, and he's a Tar Heel.

To the fans and the media, in has nothing to do with money and it has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with one man thinking he's above the sport and the team that fans hold so high in their hearts.

on Sportscenter they just had on Mort and he said that "secret superbowl waiver" that TO spoke of either never existed or was not actually started by nor submitted to the Eagles organization (and in essence, not a valid agreement)

Hank Aaron received no hate whatsoever when surpassing Ruth.

Why are people trying to get all angry. T.O is doing what he thinks it takes to get his money. Like he said they are paying him to play, nothing else. The Eagles want T.O just as much as he wants the Eagles, if thats not the truth then they wouldn't be going through all of this. Him being stubborn, ok so what, he is one of the best if not the best receiver in the league right now, and he wants his money, dont hate on the man for that, let him go about it the way he wants, and if you dont agree let it be, if the shoe dont fit what fool is gonna wear it. In no way whatsoever is T.O thinking he is above his sport, his teammates maybe (might be some truth to that) but not his sport. He is trying to get paid, he is trying to get people on his side, public opinion matters. Stop tyring to make T.O look like the bad guy for trying to support his family, you do what you have to do. Him and his coach have difference of opinion, something that has never happened in the NFL before, send his ass home. The Eagles are doing the same thing, getting people on their side, and winning, but since i understand where T.O is coming from im not gonna sit here nad be like fuck him, greedy and shit, trying to make money, he caught 14 TD's last year, he dont deserve more than 3 million something dollars. Its stupid, its annoying, and it is hate.

There's a difference between trying to get your money and doing what TO's doing. He should be dealing with this shit behind closed doors and not crying on ESPN about how he wants his money. You are missing the point completely. It's not that we don't want him to get his money, we just don't like the way he goes about it. There are ways to handle this shit, he's doing it the wrong way. And I still say, he signed the contract last year, no one forced him into it. I'm pretty sure he knew exactly what he was going to do when he signed it. He figured, I'll take this money now and play the season, have a good year, and then next year I'll demand more. That's bullshit, if he wasn't satisfied with the money he shouldn't have signed the contract. And since he did, he's got no right to complain. And no one person is bigger than their team, NO ONE. Like I said, football isn't a one man sport, it's a team sport. It's unfortunate that you see this all as hate, that's not what it is. I respect his ability, I'm just tired of his bitching and moaning. And I'm not even gonna comment on that trying to support his family bullshit, no one can tell me that 3.25m ain't enough to feed their family.

you said it yourself: TO does what he thinks it takes to get his money

THATS why people hate on him, because what he thinks is right makes him out to be a total fucking dumbass

if he didnt like the contract, he shouldn't have agreed to it in the first place

TO is making more GUARENTEED money per year than Marvin Harrison and Randy Moss, who are both better than he is
