the jays arent hot
theyre actually retarded if you ask me, they now have what? 4 3rd baseman?
they have koskie, hinske, hillenbrand, glaus and overbay to play the corners now, all players who I'm sure are making 6 - 10 million dollar a year contracts, so theyre not exactly easy to unload
and besides wells they have who in the outfield?
and in case you didn't notice, bj ryan is still a UNPROVEN closer, he pitched one year as a closer and hes rewarded as if he's rivera
as for everybodys OVERREACTION of damon like he's a traitor or something, incase you didn't notice these owners treat players like race horses not like human beings, he doesn't owe the red sox, their fans or anybody else anything, he made it to the big leagues on his own talent, and he would of been a star on any team
you should think about the red sox loyalty to their fans first, as they've done absolutely NOTHING to help their team....
loretta? wow a mediocre second baseman who had a harsh injury last year, would of been better off signing juniour spivey if they were lookin for a middle of the line second baseman
mike lowell? coming off one of his worst years in his career, and now youre going to make him switch leagues totally, i dont see much change from his mediocre numbers from last year
beckett? about the only good player they picked up, this move could go either way, young pitcher switching leagues is always a big move, that could go great or terrible
mota? probably their best bullpen pitcher now
and they wanna trade ramirez and wells and rumours swirl that they would be willing to trade arroyo and the ex-cubs pitcher too who's name escapes me now...
so that leaves ummmm who from the world series team? yea thats loyalty to your fans alright, win the world series then dismantle your team :thumb:
as for who's done some good moves
i like what the twins have done, adding rondell white, tony batista and luis castillo
also the white sox adding javier vasquez to their rotation, they EASILY have the best rotation in baseball now
in the national league i like the mets adding delgado, first base has been a problem for awhile over there, and loduca replacing piazza, you couldnt ask for much more, loduca is hard nosed and puts up the numbers, adding the speed of endy chavez to come off the bench doesnt hurt either
the dodgers signing furcal was amazing, great pick up, furcal is a great player and does everything, arguably was one of the best free agents out there and will help the dodgers immediatley, however trading milton bradley and signing nomar, that might hurt them immediately
