LOL, I just saw it. I saw Boban drop kick the guy. Crazy son of a bitch. lol. It's always going to be like this when a top Croatian team like Hajduk, Dinamo, or even Vartek (cause they seem to be doing very well) play off against Crvena Zvezda. Hell, probably gets even more crazier when your top Bosnian clubs faces off them.

Too bad, I like Hajduk and Dinamo, which is wrong on my behalf cause it's one or the other.

Prefer Dinamo's jerseys though. :D :thumb:

yup, Varteks are good this season...they were always in the top 10 back in the Ex-Yu (which is really good actually....kind of like the top ten of the nowdays french league)

No Bosnian team has faced a Serbian team (from Serbia)....altho it get's crazy when a Bosnian team meets a "Serbian" team from Bosnia... but it's not funny....they are way too serious(the serbs) to sing funny songs...they go to games to burn bosnian/croatian flags, sing chetnik songs.....

I AM NOT PROMOTING THE BAD SIDE OF FOOTBALL!!!! THIS IS JUST THE BALKANS!!!! WE ARE SOMETHING ELSE :D :D

my point is that they don't have a clue how to cheer...they are improving tho...
lmao.

that has nothing to do with what i was saying in my earlier post.
are the fans and their cheering all what matters in the game?

lmao and you add 'but they are improving though..'' that was classic.

You have to give Americans credit for their support of their sports though.

Look at the crowds at Highschool, and College sports games. They are huge. Look at crowds for the boys teams in the UK. Very minor. That's where we lack.

Football is made to see in a stadium, not on TV. Went to see a match last night (Heerenveen - Roda JC). Crazy ass match, 5-4. Atmosphere is always fabulous. THe referee made a few bad calls, he got seriously scolded, lol

It's not that american fans dont have passion and they dont know how to scream and yell. its just that soccer fans arent like that because soccer is not that big in america so they wouldnt be passioned enuff.

go and see some college football or basketball games and see how much passion and shit fans have. for example Duke University college basketball team fans are crazy as fuck, i never been in the actuall game but i seen it in TV and they scary, they chanting throughout the whole game non stop and i mean like they dont take breaks, its loud as fuck.

so my point here is that soccer isnt ''civilized'' or famous in this country as are other sports so the fans have the right not be to passioned. when the soccer makes it big here then them fans the ones who were just screaming 'lets go u.s.a...'' will be ''fuck your mothers'' lol.

euh...too me, Football is the fans....the players are just what we cheer for....If it wasn't for the fans, Football would never be what it is today... Please, go to see a match between Celtic and Rangers, you will see what I mean.

and i wasn't arguing with you, I just added something to your comment sir.

and if you don't see what I mean, you OBVIOUSLY never went to a football derby :thumb:

Yes, College hoops provide us some great games... and i'll tell you why the fans are so pumped up when they go to those games to cheer for THEIR college.... here it is : What they cheer for is what they are represented by, it's only their's and no one elses. They are a part of it. And if you don't understand what I mean, i'll give you an exemple, You cheer for AC Milan(by your previous posts, altho i am not sure), but did you cry when they lost to Liverpool in the Champs League final??? I wouldn't think so. You see, football fans have so much passion because their teams is representing their lifestyle. for exemple, Arsenal is the club of poor people, was based in the poor district of london, so the fans were represented by that team and they love it....same thing with Chelsea(the team of the rich).... Other than Social associations, there is also the Religious associations (Celtic and Rangers), Racial associations (vasco da gama and their rivals whoms name i forgot), etc etc

I love the Boston Celtics, but I will never cry if they lose the finals... But I cried when my team lost in the last game and lost the first place.... do you understand???? I don't think you will ever see a passion like that coming from americans in the next 5 years, because the San Jose Earthquakes do not represent a bunch of guys who are crazy for soccer

You can not say that. if it wasnt for the players the fans wouldnt even exist in the first place because they wouldnt have nobody to cheer for right? and if it wasnt for the fans and their support coming in the games then the players and the games wouldnt be held in empty stadiums right? so you cant say players need the fans only because they both need each other equaly. so you have no argument here.

I do not need to see them two teams playing in order to feel the passion of the game. i know what's it like. believe me.

I said soccer could improve in this country and become one of the if not the best legue in future. you replied with 'get real' and added some comments which i dont even know what you was talking about some country legue game you saw and how the fans were cheering or whatever whatever. by you saying 'get real' i assumed you disagreed with my comments and then it lead to this...

You saying american soccer fans or fans in america who support soccer dont know how to cheer. which is kinda stupid statement to make. yes they not cheering as loud as your rangers or celtic fans and yes they dont go beyond just the game as your rangers and celtics might do but that doesnt mean that cant be changed.

Putting words in big capital letters and trying to look smart wont make your comments any bigger or wiser then what you already have. so i suggest you stick with regular letters and try not to 'thumb' me. ok? ok :thumb:

See, thats where you are wrong. not knowing what im about. yes i did cry when my team lost. but on that game but when Juve lost to Dortmund in champions legue final 3:1 i think in 97 or 98.

Whats the level of play in the US soccer league (MLS I think its called) compared to the level of play over in Europe?
What is Europe? Europe is no country but a continent. The Leagues in Spain, Italy and England are the best in the world, France and Germany afterwards if you ask me + in my view each of those leagues is better then the US league, at least the 3 first leagues I mentioned.

The first tear is Spain, Italy and England, Germany comes close behind and France is another level down.

France is actually a good league, it's just that they are not financially strong as Spain, England and Germany...
oh and Spain is the dirtiest league in Western Europe. If you are not safe from relegation 10 weeks from the end, you are definitly going down.

Italian football is a slump finaincially, i mean teams finishing 5th and 6th got promoted to Seria A and not teams who finished 1-4th lol.

well Genoa bought Venizia a game that they won 3-1 and it assured them the serie A, now they are in serie C1...Venizia are in Serie C1 too. As for the thrid ranked team, they bankrupted....anyways Italian football is bullshit anyways (in a finiancial sense)

Altho, their fans have the best coreographies in the whole world
