In your opinion it is. But thankfully most people understand that crime will always exist no matter what. Thats why we live in this world today amara, not neverland where we all sing songs, smoke weed, and hug eachother.
Yes, but most people havent studied criminal law and criminology. Most people are incapable of understanding the dynamics that underpin society. Most people in this world are ignorant and narrow minded.

You can attempt to belittle my statements yet again by referring to some unrelated notion as a means to detract from my message, but like I said before, it is impossible to generate a better society, it is simply that there are those unwilling and unable to grapple with concepts beyond the simple and visible.

Amara, it's great to think that way. As a matter of a fact, it's wonderful to have a mentality such as yours. However, reality is a lot different than theory. You might argue all day and night that if people are willing to do certain things we might reach a society free of crime. However, it's the nature of humans that contradicts such ambitions.

I'm not suggesting I am above anyone, simply that I have studied the subject, therefore, I would consider my understanding better than those who have not. When did I say it was only committed by the poor?! lol. I said it was rooted in the structure of our society and economy - you jumped to the illogical conclusion yourself.

What's the point in going into it, your opinion is obviously firmly set. Go to a library and research, the answers are already out there if people care to find out.

In tears?! Me?! I was disappointed with the outcome, but I certainly wasnt in tears. I dont remember calling the voters ignorant and stupid, but well, for the most part they are ignorant. Being in that majority is nothing to be proud of. lol.

I have many solutions, I have many ideas. I am certain, however, they would be wasted on this board and you.

wasted on this boad and me? why is that?. Are we not good enough for you?, Amara your views are your own opinion good for you,, but that doesn't mean that your right. Just like the labor party, always bitching about liberal party, and never putting their ideas on show, and they wonder why no one votes for them. lol.

Like I give a toss about the Labor party.

If you feel you are inferior, that is your own problem. I never said I was unquestionably right. I cant be bothered going into it because I dont have enough time or desire to display them to people who dont care and wont seek to understand. Simple as that.

uh? how can you say i won't care about your opinion?, i've just asked you three times in a row to share it with me.

Yeah you want to change the system and all, I can respect that. But as much as you change the system in order to help people, you have just as many people exploiting it. Human nature.

lol, Groobz is back

groobz and ghost7, what Amara has said has gone over your heads. About time we stopped accepting the bullshit theories pulled out of psychologists asses to justify certain negative aspects of society. (And accpet that, "that's must the way it is") Root cause is what Amara talks about, you taclke that, you got the problem by the balls, untill then you can pump as much money as you want in to it with as much violence reciprocated as you want. (A circle comes to my mind)

And people are just sheep there aren't many leaders in the world just followers what's that got to do with it though

however, the problem Groobz is not in the armaments given to the police or the power they are given. rather it is the system of rehabilitation/ punishment (aka gaol) which you need to find a balance between. taking someones freedom away is nt always the best method of rehabilitation / punishment. there are other ways you know.......................also Capital Punishment is a deterrent :)

Kenny, you can talk about root causes all you want, but how are you going to change human nature? every human always wants more, they strive to want more and better themselves, thats why society progresses.

You can give help to people that need it,, but then what about the people that will exploit that help? like all the friggin dole bludging mongrels we have in this country. You can't win mate.

(learned that word today  )
You used it wrong :p

Rebuttal is a noun. Rebut is the verb.

"i got what she was tryin to say. which is why i didnt rebut"
