phillies def. didnt deserve to make it... they have no rotation... save for hamels... this is a joke...
You know what's a joke? The Mets.

Phillies have heart. They got in because they play harder than everyone else in the NL. Don't be surprised if they make it out of the very weak National League.

As for the American League... if the Indians win the first two games (which is highly possible), series over. No way the Yanks can take 3 out of 4 on that pitching staff.

The Red Sox are finally pulling it together. Ortiz is on fire, Manny is back and hitting, Youk is back, and Ellsbury is a manchild. Sox beat the Angels in 4.

i think the red sox-angels series will be the best of the div. series... the rotations are very similar, the bullpen is very alike.. papel/k-rod okajima/shields... the lineup is somewhat similar too... the red sox don t have much of a lead off hitter atleast not like chone figgins... ortiz manny, youk, and lowell are really strong... i think only vlad can compare to that, but dont downsize vlad... he hasnt been great in the playoffs, atleast in my memory... but he could still do something..

im just still trying to get over the cubs getting in.. i havent been thinking much of the d-backs.... i think the first matchup is webb vs. Z... and no matter which Z shows up, its gonna be tough... Z can still go 8 innings, but give up 3 ERs while striking out 10... and we can still lose... webb appears to be very consistent and his ERA is phenomenal... still... that series will be really one sided and it can go either way...

the phillies may "have heart" but i wonder how far that will get them... in the postseason, pitching is key... and i dunno what can make up for the slop that lies after cole hamels...

SD had peavy maddux and young... and then an amazing bullpen.... well, they arent in it now, but yeah the rockies didnt have much of a pitching staff.... the hitting though, especially at coors was gonna save them and it did last night... wide open field.. anything could bloop down for a double..

controversial plays last night.. guess it evened out... hr called back, missed tagging home considered a run... holliday should have gone back and touched the plate though since the ball came loose... he just assumed the ump called him safe and that the was safe... im sure he knew he didnt touch home either... it was so obvious his fingers were stepped on...

Apparently your illusion that I live in the third world nation is wrong.

And guess what else? I have news for you, I hate to break it to you but season numbers don't mean a thing in playoffs. As you can see it is evident in the series itself.

Regular season wins: Yanks 6 Indians 0.
Playoffs wins: Yanks 0 Indians 2

Now, I suggest you yet again, stop biting me and making a fool out of yourself.

I don't know what it is, maybe I give too many chances, but you guys caught me on a off day, I warned you guys to make comments towards each other, guess you can't stop.

I'm not gonna permanent ban, just a day, learn your lesson, or next time it'll be longer.

Stop posting shit against each other and ruining threads, the ignore button, isn't that hard to find. Consider this a final warning, not for one, but for both.

Dilla--see you in 24 hours, banned. See if the time away is worth that comment.

Bachaveli--you edited your post, I dunno what it said, maybe it was something to piss him off, but this is your warning as well, stop beefing.

A-Rod is a-choke. Struck out with two outs in the ninth. Ouch.

How disrespected do you think Manny felt because the Angels walked Ortiz (twice) to pitch to him? He tore the leather off that ball.

manny just had an off-season.. meaning he didnt do as well as he had in the past... if lowell, youkie, ortiz, pedroia manny and ellsbury all were in one lineup, the redsox would have my vote as world series champs.. right now, im really feeling the indians though... if manny fires up the way he did the past couple seasons, sorry, his career, and back to his normal self, the bosox got a shot as well...

and fuck the cubs.. im still a fan.. but fuck them...
