My god...
So now they have re-instated Lazio & Fiorentina back into the Serie A with some points penalty. 19 points for Fiorentina while Lazio will get 11 points penalty.
AC Milan have also been re-instated for participation on the Champions League this year but they will have to start at the qualifying round.
While Juventus still failed to get their team onto the Serie A, they will also have reduced points penalty while spending next year at Serie B. From 30 points down to 17. And Juventus are even taking this even further, by making a further appeal.
Now tell me... are these guys serious or what? Instead of giving them a much tougher punishment for match-fixing, they instead lightened the sentences. Those teams DID get caught for MATCH FIXING, right? Or did I miss some facts that they did not get involved at all?
Maybe by doing this, is to really protect the image of Serie A & Italian football, so people won't have to suffer a long wait for those 3 teams to come back onto top flight football.
However, this is so ridiculous in my opinion. This may even encourage them to even think of doing it again.
Peace~
