Juve and two others relegated

Ok but they beat you just a reminder.
Who beat who? Last time I checked, we're talking about Serie A, not Italy in general. :)

In all honesty though, what do you think was a fair punishment for the teams involved in match fixing for the last years?

Peace~

I wouldn't be surprised to not see Juve as a major force for a decade or so to be honest. They realistically won't be in the top league for two seasons minimum now so that means they won't be playing European football until the start of the 2010/2011 season. How many of their players are going to hang around and wait for them?

Also, their fans are notoriously fickle, they were only playing infront of a third of a stadium at the Delle Alpi when they were in the Champions League and regularly winnig Serie A. How many will turn up to watch them in Serie B with a poor opposition and a poor team. Could be a long hard slog back to the top for them.

Bullshit. You try to fuck about with officials, you get relegated. It if was up to me, Juve would be playing Serie C.

Your fanboy behaviour has you popping tears over Juve playing B, conveniently ignoring the fact they tried to cheat all over the fucking place. It's good they got punished.

Oh, and you mean 2 years. They lost 30 points :)
I didn't say that Juventus officials are not guilty but the court punished fans for the behaviour of club officials. In the whole story Milan is more crooked than Juve but they survived. My point was that everybody should answer for their moves but this damaged football in general. I think that the price of giving example to everybody on this way is too big.
In case you didn't know, first two teams from the Seria B will be directly promoted to Seria A. Others, from 3rd to 6th place will play play off for the remaining place. I see there our chance. See you next year hater.

I'm a hater because I disagree with a cheating club getting relegated? Relegating cheaters is bad for football? What was the punishment you'd have given them? A "talking-to"?

See you in two years, fanboy.

You are hating on Juventus. That's why. I tried to say that things like this can be solved in other way (you can ban clubs from European cups for years; you can substract some number of points; you can fine them with several millions...)
See you next year, soft headed.

When Juventus get back in the Seria A they could bring a new generation of good players to fulfill the highest ambitions. What you said about fans is true and everybody knows that. But, in big part, that was due to their problems with Moggi who is now out of club. This will just more unite army of Juventus supporters which is the largest of all Italian clubs. It will be hard but I don't doubt that they'll recover.

I'm not hating on Juve, pissfag. I'm hating on cheaters. If they cheated, tough luck. If I'm a Juve hater, I'm also a Lazio, Fiorentina and AC hater.

Btw, they are banned from Euro cups, as are the other 3, they are losing points, as are the other three.

Fining them won't make much of an impact. Relegating them however, sets a strong example. You just don't want to see them relegated because, for some odd reason, you are totally Juve fan (then again, Serbs cant play eh?) and you can't stomach the thought your precious team got caught with their hands down their pants and now have to pay the price. It was about damn time something serious got done against corruption in football and a relegation for the biggest perpetrators on the block sounds like a good thing. If they weren't relegated they'd think they could get away with it.

Now they don't. Good. See you in two years because there's no way in hell you're catching up 30 lost points. :)

And what fuck is "soft headed" for an insult? Christ, get a dictionary.

First of all, I didn't want to insult you. It just comes out of me. My apologies...
I called you 'hater' because you pointed only Juve in one of your previous posts. I can understand that people dislike certain clubs for obvious reasons but I have problem when somebody exult over somebody's misery.
Off course that, as Juventus fan, I don't like to see them relegated. Would you like to see your favourite team in that position?
Don't bring Serbs into this. They have nothing with this. I can say something sarcastic about Holland but that's uneccesary.
I'm trying to say that club officials are guilty and they should be punished even hardly but they should keep such famous club. This relegation is little to much for every Juventus fan.
As far for the club ambitions for the next season we'll see. If you are following Serie B, like I do, you'll realize that 'impossible is nothing'. :)

Much like you chances of recovering a 30 point gap with your reserve team.

Having said that, we have all experienced first hand your almost psychic predictions. Such as Serbia & Montenegros amazing defence carrying them through the group stage of the World Cup. Oops...

My god...

So now they have re-instated Lazio & Fiorentina back into the Serie A with some points penalty. 19 points for Fiorentina while Lazio will get 11 points penalty.

AC Milan have also been re-instated for participation on the Champions League this year but they will have to start at the qualifying round.

While Juventus still failed to get their team onto the Serie A, they will also have reduced points penalty while spending next year at Serie B. From 30 points down to 17. And Juventus are even taking this even further, by making a further appeal.

Now tell me... are these guys serious or what? Instead of giving them a much tougher punishment for match-fixing, they instead lightened the sentences. Those teams DID get caught for MATCH FIXING, right? Or did I miss some facts that they did not get involved at all?

Maybe by doing this, is to really protect the image of Serie A & Italian football, so people won't have to suffer a long wait for those 3 teams to come back onto top flight football.

However, this is so ridiculous in my opinion. This may even encourage them to even think of doing it again.

Peace~

It's all bullshit, this is how they clean up corruption in Serie A? Fuckin Lazio heads back to A? They should get banned for just being fucking Lazio.

The gap is now reduced. It seems to me that even if they relegate us we are coming back quick like I said before.
As far for the Serbian defence, I answered you in the other thread.

I had completely missed AC Milan's MUCH lessened suspension. My oh my. Are you kidding me on this one?

Still competing in Serie A, back to Champions League football and only penalised 8 points towards the next season. You might as well revoke those penalties as it is utterly bullshit. It ain't called penalties. It's more like presents.

Christmas in July?

Peace~

^^ Aye. What's the use of "penalties" when they're hardly getting penalized? Especially the return to European football. Being cut out was a huge blow and it should've remained that way to show clubs to stop trying to cheat.

When the original verdict came, I think most football fans breathed a sigh of relief to hear that serious action was taken against cheating clubs. Yes, the penalties were substantial but then again the offences were substantial.

Yet now, with the revoked penalties, it goes only to show that if you're penalized as a club, it only takes some puppy eyes, whining, a bag of money or a loaded gun (or a combination thereof) to get your way.

Unbelievable. Very sad turn of events.
