Ok.Thank you.I'm going to bother you one last time hopefully.Just few more questions.
1)Constant pluging into the computer and taking out and putting songs into an iPod doesn't demage an iPod does it?
2)Don't disconnect it until its charged completely?
3)When adding songs, for example 2pac i choose and i add all his songs with just '2pac' artist name on it, they all go in one group. But when i add 2pac ft somebody it goes in different group,it doesn't go into same group as first one.How can i make all 2pac songs to go into under '2pac' group.Do you understand what im saying? Its comes out with so many different groups '2pac ft person 1' '2pac ft person 2' exc... i want all Pac songs to be in one group. And after artist i want to be able to search for particular album to be more convenient.
4)And about videos.I'm having trouble putting videos into an iPod.How exactly do i do it?It asks me to convert videos through iTunes before putting into an iPod,which i did but it still didn't wortk. What file type has to have a video to be able to put into an iPod?Or better yet,do you know good free video converter program?
5)Is there any other way to put songs into an iPod other then through iTunes?
1) In a way it does. Remember the ipod is a hard drive and it is constitantly writting/checking it's data and if you accidentaly disconnect improperly, you can lose your data or even your hard drive can become FUBAR'ED. Now the chances of that happening is 1 out of 1,000,000. Rarely to never happens so don't worry.
2) Nope, you can disconnect at any time, no need to fully recharge the ipod.
3) Can't. You need to put the feature artists listings in the song names. I think it is a better structure that way.
4) Videos need to be .mp4. There cannot be any other format. I don't have a video ipod so I am not familiar enough with decoding and encoding correctly. Check out
www.ilounge.com and go to their forums. Use the search gbuttons. I know that alot of people have questions about the video format on the new ipods.
5) Yes. I use ephpod. BUT you cannot add videos to your ipod. I really don't care for videos (and the fact that I don't have a video ipod works for me). Ephpod is very advance and should not be used if you don't know what you are doing. The good side about it is the many ways you can change the mp3's, and folders of the ipod. Check out
www.ilounge.com and they have rated many applications for use of the ipod.
Have fun.
