Conspiracy theories are the new religion. It too is self-deception, only with the purpose to explain away all the worlds wrongs on one group of hyper-evil individuals. Maybe to absolve normal, ordinary people of such acts, maybe it's easier than believing that sometimes bad things just happen. These exact same conspiracy theories will probably be redistributed for centuries, regardless of who are in positions of power. Like religion, people take these theories and twist them to fit their own beliefs. It's the American Government, it's George W. Bush, it's big business, it's the Jews, it's the Muslims, it's the Martians. All derived from the same 'evidence'. And like religion, the thing that drives these theories is and underlying belief in something for whatever reason. If there was no 'evidence', most conspiracy theorists would probably still believe that the government was evil.

.

conspiracy theories that have enough evidence to back them up are no longer thoeries.

what is wrong with thinking for ourselves instead of the media thinking for us

there are so many questions surrounding 911 and so much evidence that prooves government involvement that i think its cruicial for people to think for themselves. Look at all of the evidence and then decide what you believe to be true

those that fail to do this are the ones suffering from self-deception

and im sorry to say this my friend but the U.S is run by a bunch of corrupt fucks who are the deffinition of the word evil

i wish it wasent true, and some days i wish i never discovered the truth

the existance of the illuminati is not a conspiracy theory, you dont need to look any further than ther american currency for proof of there existence

so when some1 denies there existence they themselves are in denial
We've been through this before.

The all-seeing eye isn't solely a symbol of the Illuminati. It's a classical symbol. I posted this earlier in this thread, you probably overlooked it.

One who asks a question is a fool for five minutes; yet one who asks a question but comes up with the wrong answer is... simply a fool.

the all seeing eye has been used for thousands of years in many different cultures

your point?

the version on the american currency is a well known illuminati symbol

type in illuminati symbol in google you will get thousands of results showing that exact symbol

why is one a fool for asking questions

its better to be wrong than to never question if what your told is the truth

Not always. For instance, if what you are told is the truth is the truth. Then being wrong is not better.

it is better to stand and question anything than to sit in doubt. the one who questions will walk away more knowing and confident of the situation, while the silent one might stay doubtful. being wrong and questioning things is how we learn; rather than being idle or quiet and absorbing nothing. our experience is the greatest teacher of all. just as well as we learn from our mistakes and experiences-we learn from questioning and being wrong. by questioning what is, even if wrongfully so, we ensure that the truth is pure. becuase if we never ask the questions then we will never know for sure....

My point is, both the American currency and the Illuminati/Masonic symbol both come from the same piece of classic imagery. The fact that the Illuminati was just four months old when the eye was suggested to the Great Seal committee and had certainly not spread to America should make this clear. It was only after the French Revolution that people claimed the Illuminati had spread to America.

This isn't about asking questions, it's about a firm belief that the government is evil, and finding any piece of information which might bolster this argument. Don't act as if the skeptics here are naive enough to not question things, we're just not obsessed with a fictitious secret society that implausably rules the entire world.

the all seing eye image comes from ancient indian spirituality, it represents the 6th Shakra of the body, ie the 6th level of energy (located between the eyes). it's the level reached when you become enlightened
the leaders of the illuminati, enlightened, wanted to create a new World order, and they developped techniques to teach ppl to reach the enlightenment level (ie 6th shakra, ie 32rd level of free masonry), techniques (rituals) inspired from yoga practices, Sufism religgion, and other mystic practices.
the incorporation of the pyramid with the all seing eye, other than the fact that free masons can be traced back to egypt, represents the people. the upper part of the pyramid, above the eye, represent the government. the eye (the illuminati) supports the government and can make him crumble at any time. At the same time, the illuminati watches over the people represented by the lower part of the pyramid

The Illuminati didn't have any real link with the Freemasons, other than using it as a recruiting pool, and they certainly didn't teach Islamic, Hindu or Buddhist practices. The Illuminati was set up to counter religion, promoting enlightenment through science. Their long term goals were more sinister, but that was the basic principle behind it. The rituals and mysticism came later, taken from Freemasonry.

I've never heard this, what's your source? As far as I know, the Freemasons only became a fraternity or 'secret society' in the 1600s.

the all seeing eye has been used in various states and has yield different appearances throughout history

but the unfinished pyramid with the all seeing eye on the top with the words annuit oceptis novus ordo seclorum is an illuminati symbol

its a fact backed up with real evidence, not the theoretical bs you wish to lable it as

i think alot of people are quick to lable things untrue simply because they dont put in enuff time themselves to look at all the fact's

understand, people with massive amount's of wealth do run the world..this is something everybody know's.
These same people belong to certain bloodline's that have had the same wealth for hundred's of years...
These people have been apart of the same fraternity's with secret ties and underlying agenda's.

skull & bones for example....was started in the late 1800's to infultrate america and bring it down for the british...weve had countless skull&bones presidents cia directors out of million's of american's even though they only allow 15 members a year...funny how they managed to get to the top...

Bohemian Grove-

Since 1873, the Global Elite Has Held Secret Meetings in the Ancient Redwood Forest of Northern California. Members of the so-called "Bohemian Club" Include Former Presidents Eisenhower, Nixon and Reagan. The Bush Family Maintains a Strong Involvement. Each Year at Bohemian Grove, Members of This All-Male "Club" Don Red, Black and Silver Robes and Conduct an Occult Ritual Wherein They Worship a Giant Stone Owl, Sacrificing a Human Being in Effigy to What They Call the "Great Owl of Bohemia."

kinda weird dont you think?
anyway there are lot's of disturbing fact's about those who are in control of our live's and these things cant be taken with a grain of salt!
there not some bs theorys hippy's smoke out and make up...these are real things fact's you just have to know how to connect the dot's and tie things together....im sure these people dont call themselve's the illuminati
but bush sr. has made many statments about a (new world order)

in history itself you can see many examples of people playing world domination...command and conquer, ect.
what make's you think it's any different now?

Well the idea that the Illuminati survived after 1785, let alone spread to the rest of the world, is without basis.

Could you show me some evidence of this?

"Illuminist symbols are displayed in [Rene] LeForestier's exhaustive history (based on documents seized by Bavarian authorities from the Order) and have no resemblance to the United States Seal."

There's a big difference between rich and powerful families and one all-powerful secret society who rule the entire planet and are responsible for every major tragedy since the dawn of time. It's a ridiculous concept and I'm amazed anyone even entertains the idea.

"l."

hows this?

William Barrett, the Frenchman who brought the plans for the seal from Europe and paid heavily lobbying Washington and other forefathers to use it.

Barrett was a member of the "Illuminati," the French counterpart of the Masons, an organization in which the early fathers held membership.

Technically, an Illuminatus is a Master Mason who has received all the "light" Masonry can bestow. He is beyond 32° and even beyond 33°! Such people are known as the Masters of Masters of the Temple, and collectively are known by several names other than the Illuminati.

“There exists in the world today, and has existed for thousands of years, a body of enlightened humans united in what might be termed, an Order of the Quest. It is composed of those whose intellectual and spiritual perceptions have revealed to them that civilization has secret destiny . . .

The outcome of this 'secret destiny' is a World Order ruled by a King with supernatural powers.

This King was descended of a divine race; that is, he belonged to the Order of the Illumined for those who come to a state of wisdom then belong to a family of heroes-perfected human beings.”

And who wrote this? And why do you believe them? Because you want to? Could they have said anything about this that you wouldn't believe?

Yeah, I'm gonna believe these idiots have supernatural powers and spiritual perception. You're gullible, which is why u believe this stuff. It's not that we're not questioning things; it's that we have a better foundation of knowledge and understanding of the world, and so, we see the flaws in this stuff in hundreds of ways. You simply don't know enough about what is to see the nonsense in this.

Someone can make-up a story and write a book about aliens controlling the world and make everything seem plausible with details, and you would probably believe it. Because why wouldn't you?

I could make up similar, plausible stuff about the Illuminatti, post it on a website, and guess what? It will slowly become part of the Illuminatti myth that ppl like you believe in. You guys will be quoting my made-up shit.

the founders of the illuminati were free masons
they did teach yoga and sufist practices, it doesn't matter whether they were trying to counter religion or not
free masons existed way before 1600, there are different stories,

one story i heard for example says that the first free masons were the phoenician architects of the temple of king Salomon. After the temple was finished, Salomon ordered to kill all the masons who worked on it because he didn't want them to build any other structure of comparable beauty. Some of these masons survived and were persecuted... the became the free masons....

(of course, this is just a story, no one can know for sure where free masonry started, but i am sure there are lots of conspiracy theory books that talk about the origins)
