Cool Quotes....

check my signature. the one I like alot is the one by William Wallace.

one of my favourite malcolm X quotes
"You cant hate the roots of a tree and not hate the tree. you cant hate your origin and not end up hating your self"
-- Malcolm X

when Malcolm X heard this he sat and thought for hours about it and said there would be no problems if people followed this:

"No man is a true believer until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself." - The Prophet Mohammad(PBUH)

"I would take you up to my IQ level, but you would be afraid of heights" - Aesop :thumb:

These three quotes are some that have really inspired me in my life. I'm not going to lie, there are times when I am wondering if I am wasting my time. Why am I spending all my time volunteering or starting my career in the non-profit management where there isnt a lot of money to be made. I'm at the age where I should be thinking about nothing but the amount of money I can make. I look around at my friends who I went to school with and they are making much more money than me and yes at times I do feel like I want that. Then I remember why I am doing what I am doing. It's something I have a passion for and I enjoy it. then I look at my friends and although they have more money they have not close to being as happy with me. Anyway, these three quotes inspire me to inspire others. These men always remind me why I do what I do.

"This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in." -Theodore Roosevelt

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." -Mahatma Ghandi

"Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." - M.L.K.

“The scientists of today think deeply instead of clearly. One must be sane to think clearly, but one can think deeply and be quite insane.”

Nikola Tesla.

"A common and natural result of an undue respect for the law is, that you may see a file of soldiers, colonel, captain, corporal, privates, powder-monkeys, and all, marching in admirable order over hill and dale to the wars, against their wills, ay, against their common sense and consciences, which makes it very steep marching indeed, and produces a palpitation of the heart."
-- David Henry Thoreau
