Technology Constant Problem with Internet Connection.

#1
Every i'd say 2-3 weeks or so, all of sudden my internet connection stops working and would not allow me to use Internet and AOL.
then asks me to go to Mcafee Personal Firewall and to have these files 'allow full access'

waol.exe
aolload.exe
aolacsd.exe
aoldial.exe
aoltpspd.exe

after i do that, i allow full access then it works again.

but i never block these file n shit so why by itself blocks and is not allowing full access?

i dont want to be doing this every 2-3 weeks. i wanna have it full access all the time.

anybody know why this shit happends constantly and how to fix it and not to have to do ''allow full access' every time internet connection stops?

no, i have no idea what that is.
i dont think i even have that.

i scan mostly with ad-aware and spy bot search and destroy. and Antivir xp to scan whole pc and do updates.

would appriciate a lot if you specificially tell me how to use that and fix it.

All through the net I keep hearing people sayin' "Your PC's supposed to crash tonight".

I don't use McAfee Firewall, but when it comes up is there a box you can tick that says "Always Allow" or something like that? It might be that the Firewall only allows those programs to run for a couple of weeks, then checks again.

unfortunetlly no, theres no such thing as ''always allow'. it there was i would tick it.

The only explanation I can think of is if AOL updates itself every couple of weeks and so the programs change and McAfee has to ask you again if you want to allow them.

I don't use AOL or McAfee firewall. I'll ask elsewhere.

hey Bach, if I could come over to your house I'd help you fix your problem, that is if you have one. The problem is I probably live many moons away from you. :(

And by the way, I was just joking earlier. ;)
