Excuse for violence?

First of all,i think these Danish cartoons are wrong and should never have been published.

But,the reaction to these cartoons by Muslims in the Middle East is a complete over reaction and makes me wonder,is it just an excuse for violence,and to act in an uncivilised manner?I mean,burning down buildings,people dying over some cartoons.Cartoons mocking christians and jews have been printed in Middle Eastern Muslim publications for years.Thats ok is it?What about the pope being shot by a Muslim man?possibly working on behalf of an extremist muslim organisation.Is that ok.But when the Muslim religion is "attacked" all hell breaks loose.people die and buildings burn.God doesnt support violence and these people(not all muslims btw) arent part of Gods plan.Im sure the Muslim religion doesnt teach its followers to use violence either.I dont understand why these people are so quick to use violence over any little thing.
