I never supported slavery nor has anyone in my family tree I can tell you that. I appologize if I know I've done something wrong, till then, any forced appologies can get shoved up anyone who asks for one, white or black.

Yea I know. I don't have a problem with that (or with you for that matter) but I tend to dislike your views. I often expect to see comments like "if they don't like it here they can go back to Africa". You oversimplify and you only look at it from your own perspective.

People like you (sounds harsher than I mean) only look at the most obvious facts. Slavery ended over a 100 years ago so black people have had more than 100 years to get back on their feet but they haven't gotten out of the mess... so they must be lazy and stupid.
Some people don't realize it's far more than that.

No black person alive today was a slave so no one needs to get paid shit.

You need to think of the human psyche. Black people grow up nowadays with knowledge of what happened in the past. Having that knowledge makes it far worse to be discriminated against. Being called a nigger does so much more damage than being called a cracker. You can't even compare the two (actually saw some fuckface saying 'wigger' was the equivelant of 'nigger' yesterday). Growing up in a white dominated environment and then being discriminated against leads to alienation and can cause serious mental issues. I'm half white but all that matter is that I'm colored so I've had my share of discrimination and it's done its damage. Might be difficult to imagine when you're white but the past still very much influences the present.
And that's just verbal discrimination.

I think most whites, at least in America, are very apologetic toward blacks. The idea that most whites are extremely conservative and racist is outdated, in my opinion.

My people weren't involved in slavery to the extent that most white immigrants in America were. There were Jewish slave owners, just not that many. I sympathize with many post-colonialist nations and groups, but I doubt that slavery is as relevant today to American blacks as it's made out to be.
